The instructional videos on the website were a huge help and I'm really happy with the final result. Overall a great and versatile product.

As a contractor it was very easy to work with and install. The only suggestion is -- if installing in concrete use TapCon fasteners the ones sent with the posts being aluminum don't grip as well. Plus it is a very stable railing system, which exceeded my expectations. Very pleased with the product

I have used this product to build several deck handrail systems. Wouldn't use anything else. The ease of installation makes up for the added cost and it looks great years later. We are able to mix glass and wide pickets and it all matches.

Installation was a little hard but with two people it went smoothly. Looks great, very sturdy and wife loves it.

Better quality than expected. As a contractor I found instructions to be lacking and confusing but I managed to work it out. Might be even more challenging for a DIY person. I did not check the Bilt App for instructions perhaps they have an easier guide. Project took about 4 hrs for one 6 foot section...still have another 18 foot of sections to install. Hopful after doing one section the others will go together much faster. Overall pleased w quality, strength and the look! I opted for the wide picket and decorative spacers with the post base caps.

My husband and his brother completed this kit on our interior 2nd story balcony. I opted the fascia mounts rather than drill into our new hardwood flooring. To make adjustment in measurements they used a chop saw and a grinder. My preference was to have 2" rather than 4" in between each glass panel and the results are amazing. The process took a total of three hours.

I really liked how well the finish product turned out! I'm not sure how easy the installation would be for most homeowners without some basic level of construction background (especially the stair railing), but I will absolutely use this product again.

While I had no issue with 4 x 4 post, the attaching hardware for the rail to post had an incorrect part in the hardware bag (50903). This threw me a curve. One does not expect pre-packaged hardware to have a wrong part. To make this all work, I had to purchase two additional hardware kits that costed me an additional $30.(50901)

Simple installation, looks way better than wood spindles. Product is well made.

Our house is a tri-level and I always hated how the old wooden picket railings broke up the view from our house to the yard and from the deck to the patio. When we replaced our deck with composite, I looked around for a better railing system and found the 6" glass panel system by Peak. Install was fairly easy with three people (one to hold the inserted panels and railing in place, one to line to top glass fitting up and the third to THEN line the bottom fitting up) and it looks amazing. We can now see from one side of the yard to the other and folks on the patio can talk to folks on the deck!! I had to contacted Peak support because we were one panel short for our project and Todd was prompt and extremely helpful in finding us a solution. I couldn't be happier.

I installed 13 rail sections and 3 stair sections about 4 weeks ago. The railing is functional and sturdy. Would have rated the system at 5 stars had it not been for very poor packaging, I had to make 3 trips back to HD to replace boxes that had parts missing. The footer block that supports the lower railing was missing on 4 out of 13 pieces. Even after 3 return trips, still was missing one piece. i gave up and put a small piece of PT 2x4 under the rail. Numerous other fasteners were missing. I installed alone with no help and spent about 30 hours. This excludes 7-8 hours driving to HD and scrounging fasteners. Overall the railing is very solid with very little deflection. The stair rails are a bit wobbly because they are connected by a single screw and can move between the supports.

Easy to install, looks great. A la carts ordering is a little tricky. Stair rail adaptors come with a stair rails - so don’t buy them

The height was very good as a safety feature for a deck. The installation had some difficulties because cuts had to be made for the proper spacing and that ran into issues. The bolts for the bottom rail mounts should have been a counter sunk screw. Aluminum is a good choice but it was disappointing to see how much the spacers were scuffed up. It shouldn't be that way out of the box. Overall it looks good!

I would have rated it higher if the instructions weren't totally worthless. I ordered two sets plus the pickets and spacers. If your install is into wood, it might be easier. If into masonry, those screws are not even included.

Some what hard to install but not bad.I would definitely buy it again.just took more time to adjust the height of the styles.

In my opinion, the Peak aluminum railing system is a VERY nice looking and reasonably easy to install system. Even with a helping hand, though, the glass panels are a challenge to slide into place. Their admonition to install a base rail support prior sliding the glass panels into the rail system should have tipped me to a challenge ahead. Sadly, it did not. Even with an extra pair of hands to hold everything together on the first section, we momentarily lost the connection between the glass panel and the top rail. Fortunately nothing broke as several of the panels fell away, but they did bend a few of the glass fittings on their way to the deck that I had to straighten out. Not wanting a repeat as we installed four sections, I figured out a way to keep the top and bottom rails from separating too much as new panels were installed. I laid the rails down on the deck and assembled a glass panel on each end. I then lightly tightened two ratchet straps, one on each end, to prevent the rails from separating too much. (Sorry, I didn't think to take a picture of the set-up, but it really wasn't anything too tricky.) That did it. We easily slid all the panels into place. I then snugged the straps a bit more (NO stress, just snug) and stood the rails up and into place - easy! The only thing to be mindful of when installing the remaining panels is to keep the top and bottom rail ends lined up fairly well so you don't have alignment problems with the end panels. The picture shows all of the glass panels in place and one of the picket railings. We are very pleased with how they've turned out. I like it so much that I've decided to use the system along all of the cottage walkways as well.

DIY Done! Once you watch the video a time or two and do the first run you will be doing very well. The video does not go into a second third or fourth run, so be advised to make your second run match the angle drop so your top rails are aligned! Very beautiful and sturdy!! A never replace me done project!

Very good quality. Only thing i would add is the coating is thin and so it scratches easily. Other then that... it's very solid.

Great product have gotten many compliments easy to install. The stairs are a little tricky but go slow with them. Finished product is beautiful

Very heavy , but strong product. Hold up hand rail post very well. I used about twenty of them for my huge deck. It looks great and feels stable. By using this product, you can leave no holes on the surface of deck and give you more space.

The final project looks great. Getting the correct parts for the project and problems with damage during shipping delayed the completion. The main part of the project was installing the stair railing. It is definitely a two-person job and the video was deceptively simplistic.

The Peak railing system exceeded my expectations. I love the look of it and it's very sturdy. I have a complicated deck/stairs so I contacted Peak directly and they prepared a layout for me and a purchase list and the Pro Desk ordered it for me. I do wish that the HD installation services had installers who were experienced installing the railing but the guy I hired fortunately was able to do it after overcoming a learning curve. I'm happy I decided to do the facia-mount option. It looks very classy. Very reasonable compared to other quotes I received from different railing types.

I'm super thrilled with the results of my Peak deck railing using their facia mounts! Looks high end and didn't cost me an arm and leg! A few things to note for recommendations: 1. If you contact Peak directly (not Home Depot) and provide them with your deck dimensions, they might provide you with a purchase list and layout for your project. They did this for me and it was extremely helpful. However, their layout had it's problems so be prepared to be ready to order additional pieces and return others. I was able to return my items without a problem or a 15% restocking fee b/c the layout they provided was incorrect. 2. I really wish Home Depot had authorized professionals identified to install this railing. In San Diego, they did not and I had to cross my fingers and hope that the random person I hired could do it. They did but it wasn't without some trial and error (and a few choice words).

Not so easy to install railing system if you're going past the pre-beveled angle the railing is set for. If you're withing the angle set on the railing, just follow the video and it's east. If you have steep stairs like I do, it's a little more difficult. Took a little bit to get everything lined up right and cut properly. The rest of the Peak Railing was easy to install and went in quick. This is the only piece that gave me some difficulty, but was able to work around it. I had to put all the picket spacers in, leave the bottom post loose, screw the railing base in on both ends, and work the pickets in and level into the top railing till I got to the end and got an idea of measurements. Took it all apart and cut the spacers so everything was centered and then put it all back together again. If you have to make more than a couple cuts, I would recommend using a miter saw with metal blade for aluminum. A hacksaw will work, but it is good thick aluminum so it will take some work.

Peak Aluminum Railing products are excellent - well made, perfectly finished, attractive and sturdy when installed. Installation instructions are excellent, especially the online installation videos on the Peak website. Each component comes complete with the appropriate fasteners. I had one problem, hence the Four Star rating: I chose Decorative Spacers to dress up the railing. Proper installation requires that each decorative spacer be screwed to both adjacent pickets, using TINY self-tapping screws. The decorative spacers are pre-drilled but the pickets are not, so you have to carefully hand-hold the screw in the hole while setting the screw with your portable screwdriver. Space is limited and the drill/screwdriver must be held at an angle. More than one screw wound up in the garden, and it was very hard to get the spacer/picket combination in perfect alignment. I shared this issue with Peak Customer Service; maybe they'll provide pre-drilled pickets in the future. If you choose standard spacers, installation is very simple and straightforward. I think the decorative spacers are worth the trouble, but be prepared and take your time.
