The item is beautiful. I had it delivered and it arrived undamage. It installed very easily and looks great in our bathroom.

Beautiful, sturdy. Shelf space fits our needs but it is not as much as standard rectangular . love it

Converting our main bathroom fixtures and paint scheme to compliment rubbed bronze. Always being one to read reviews, I was aware that the actual cabinet was not extremely large and that the bronze frame was plastic. What came as a disappointment was the lack of coherent directions and the regretful design flaw which mandates the mirror, if recessed, stick out of the wall an 1" or so, exposing a cheap aluminum surround frame. Nevertheless, hoping to keep Mama happy, I installed it anywho! When she arrived home from work, we had a grand reveal... removing the final plastic coating from the exterior mirror displayed an imperfection/chip in the mirror at eye level! Home depot was great at taking it back without issue. We've since replaced it with a Kohler Archer, which we got for less. It is built much better, and functions quietly, unlike the clunky piano hinge on the pegasus oval mirror. buyer be wise!

The shelf clips don’t fit , they are 2 prong & the cabinet requires 1 prong clips. I’ve been trying to get the correct clips shipped to me for 2 weeks with no success! Please send them ASAP!

I planned a Bathroom remodel using 2 of these recessed medicine cabinets. Obviously to install them the walls needed to be modified to accept the recessed cabinets...............so I referenced the installation instructions and checked and double checked to view the 'rough-in' size of the recess. The 'rough-in' dimensions printed are the FINISHED outside dimensions of the medicine cabinets, so now I have finished drywalled and painted wall with two holes side by side that are 1" to tall and 1" to wide. If you purchase this mirror DO NOT trust the printed rough-in dimensions or you will have HOURS of work in front of you attempting to fix what should have been a very straight forward install! Frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just put it up, looks great, would have liked the shelves a little deeper.

It is absolutely gorgeous! I have it in my bathroom with rub oil bronze fixtures and it is just perfect. I had it installed into my wall so it doesn’t stick out and the mirror is flush with the wall.

The mirrored medicine cabinet is well constructed. Installation instructions for recessed mounting is a little lacking for the recessed spacer bar as for as mounting. I would use this product again.

There were no instructions included with this medicine cabinet. I had to download them and they were not very clear. I still trying to figure out how to install the frame for a recessed installation.

I like that there is mirror on both sides of door.

If you like mirrors then you will love this medicine cabinet. You will find mirrors on the outside, inside & even on the sides of the cabinet. The mirror is quite large but the medicine cabinet part is smaller than expected. We love the look in our updated bathroom.

Fast delivery. Took only couple of days to get it delivered. It took me about half hour to install it. Very impressive quality and looks. Can recommend to buy.

While the mirror itself is nice, the instructions for the recessed option installation were incomplete, lacking, and very hard to follow. The screws meant for mounting the medicine cabinet to wood were very soft and stripped out instantly. If it wasn't so difficult to install, we would return it for a refund.

This mirror is beautiful....I had to return it unfortunately because it was too big for my space. But I purchased the smaller size and I love it.

Looks nice and has quite a bit of storage space for the size.

To be honest, this is a GREAT looking medicine cabinet, high quality for the money and appears to be timeless in design. I have not installed it, and have thought more than once about returning it. Reason being, I don't know if I want to go "dark" in my small bathroom with vanity, etc. and wonder how to get it apart to spray paint it if I need to.

Dimensions are inaccurate. When you put it in the wall and try to open the door it won't because it hits the wall

Description says recessed or surface mounted. Recessed does not allow door to completely open.

Quality mirror

Not a lot of oval shaped recessed mirrors available, this one is terrific, solid, well made.

Read if you intend to recess mount!!! The specs for the rough opening are wrong. The cabinet is significantly smaller than the specs state. I bought this specifically because I wanted a no muss no fuss installation but it was anything but. Hours later, I'm compelled to write this review so no one else winds up as frustrated as I am. A few annoyances I came across and had to trial and error: You'll need to have pieces of wood about an inch thick to sure up the cabinet on each side. Why are you building a rectangle that doesn't attach to the cabinet you ask? It is used to create the space needed to allow the door to open without the part near the hinge hitting the wall. So it will stay in place when the cabinet is screwed in. It should have the smooth side out, the directions have smooth side out in the first diagram and then smooth side in for the remaining illustrations. Make sure the thinner side is on the side with the hinge so that it can sit flush. Cabinet looks nice, but time will tell if it was worth the trouble.

I won't be installing this for a couple of months. I haven't decided on surface or recessed mounting yet. I am gathering all my materials to remodel our master bath. I took one out of the box to make sure they had the look that I wanted. We use HD an Pegasus brands pretty often. I'm sure this will be as good as I expect, as the product description is what I based my purchase decision on. The mirror frame is a sturdy plastic but it doesn't have a "plastic" look. The mirror is mounted securely to the cabinet frame. My husband is a general contractor. He makes everything I buy look easy to install. Whatever I decide on this will be no exception❤

We bought this 10 August and its still being pricessed as of 20 August. The hold up is disappiointing.

It was lovely , but did not fit in the recessed space in my bathroom without cutting through studs.
