This planter was such a great addition. I bought three for my peonies. The planters are made well. The metal handles are delicate, so I lift from the sides or bottom once filled. The finish of the wood planter is so rich. It enhanced the beauty of the plant. I'm happy with my purchase and the price.

These were slightly shorter than we had wanted but were so pretty, we couldn't resist. I like that they are not as breakable as clay pots but more substantial than plastic or polymer pots. I also like that they are relatively lightweight, even filled with dirt. They have small metal handles on either side but I don't think I would use them to lift the pots (unless they are empty). They go with almost any setting and don't clash with my other pots.

Just what i was looking for to cover pergola brackets (we are not constructing for a while) extening up from my patio. Perfect size for what i was utizing these for. I inverted them, placing over brackets and set flower pot display on top of each. Hopefully they weather well....have only had them a few days. Took before and after pic but was only allowed one pic, and can't see the preview, so hopefully bucket is displayed.

I love the "rustic" bucolic feel this gives to the stairs to my porch. I will buy a couple more.

Nice Rustic Planter
This is a cute rustic planter for outdoor/sunroom use. It is constructed as an old fashioned bucket might be, with grooved cedar planks and 2 metal bands. The small handles are a nice embellishment and there is a drainage hole at the base for use with live plants. I put my basil planting (in a plastic pot) inside this container and it looked very attractive. A small herb mix would look great in it. However, I see I bit of rust forming on the handles so I would suggest this be used in an area that would not receive rain or dampness. It might only last a season under those circumstances which is why I have given it 4 stars. I think this planter would be fantastic as a vessel for dried arrangements or artificial flowers indoors. It has that great country feel and it would look festive with some fall decor. If you have a protected overhang, mums would be lovely in this planter.
This is a cute planter that appears to be made of pine wood with metal bands and handles. Although it is not made perfectly, it has an old, rustic appearance and will look great once there are flowers in it.
There are 2 metal handles that can be raised only about half way, but that is not a problem. The inside dimensions are 10.5" at the top, and tapers down to 8" at the bottom. The outside dimensions are 11.5" across the top and 8.5" across the bottom. The planter stands 10.75" tall. It has a .75" hole at the bottom for drainage.
I needed a planter to place inside one of my urns, so I will probably use it for that purpose. I've placed artificial flowers in it temporarily and it looks good either in the urn or on the ground.
