I am very pleased with my new Pergo Outlast+ Cocoa Walters Oak Laminate. It’s darker in color than excepted but works well with my kitchen. No scratches or marks after a few heavy items were accidental dropped on it. They look very realistic. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

This laminate by Pergo is great looking and appeared to be a good value. However, the main issue that we had to deal with was the tongue and groove locking was very difficult to achieve. The install instructions were followed exactly as prescribed, and numerous videos were watched to ensure proper steps were taken. But separations and gaps occurred constantly, even with the joints aligned exactly as they should. It seemed for every 2 or 3 rows of planking laid, we would have to remove 1 or 2 . Extremely frustrating! The other observation was the "underlayment" was a cheap, thin layer that would often tear off or separate when the planks were cut. Not sure it the "lot" of planks were defective, but would not purchase this product again and would certainly not recommend it.

The boxes were not made of cardboard and there was tape all over the boards in the outsides of the boxes we are still working to get the tape off Very poor packaging!!!

Received damaged packages that came in two separate deliveries - and both deliveries had damaged goods. The pergo is wrapped in plastic?! Are you kidding me? See attached image. Unfortunately, my 80 year old dad accepted the first part of the order so I would have to go back to the store and return it. When the rest of the order came, I didn't accept it. Even the UPS guy said to me "don't accept these". My contractor said it isn't worth your time/hassle to return. Just buy new ones.......

Two years ago, I did my downstairs with the Java scraped oak. Last month I finished the upstairs. Absolutely beautiful! Couldn’t be happier with this product. It is solid beneath your feet, feeling much better than LVP. This is next best thing to real wood if you ask me! After two years, my downstairs still looks brand new also.

Have used pergomax for years. 3rd remodel turned out as good as the first two.

I just finished installing this flooring in 5 rooms. I have dropped hammers, drills, screws, and paint on it already. So far... not a scratch. If I can give some critique, it would be in the install instructions. Even with YouTube, it would be nice to have some close-up photos/illustrations when first starting.

Great look and quality.

I just had Java Scraped Oak laid and it is just TOO dark. It’s practically black. Note that most laminate and wood floors photograph a bit lighter, so you can only imagine looking at my photo. The golden undertones on these planks completely disappears when laid large scale. Don’t let a few planks lined up as test swatches fool you. I should have gone with Auburn Scraped Oak. $10k later, this makes me sick. The quality of the laminate however is good and I like the detail on the planks.

Love it and easy to install.

We installed this floor, Pergo + Outlast Java Scraped Oak, ourselves in a busy room with exterior and interior entrances in early 2017. It absolutely has held up! We never had a scratch from our dog or foot traffic, or experienced any chipping. Our room is about 13' x 19' and we completed the project in lass than a day. BTW we were both over retirement age when we did this. It looks just as beautiful today as the day we installed it. If this is your color, we highly recommend!

Really nice wood! The main display photo doesn't do it justice at all and looks nothing like the finished product. Be sure to scroll through customer photos to see what it looks like. I love all the color variations when you install it-- it matches everything! We had a tricky color kitchen cabinet to work with and it looks great.

It’s looks like real wood.

I was on the hunt for flooring for over 2 years. I was originally looking at engineered wood as that’s what I had in my last home. I settled on Pergo as the thickness was what I was desiring, but did NOT want to be worried about gouges and water the way I was with my engineered. I attempted the install myself but I’ll admit that it probably would have taken me a solid month or more to do this (correctly), so I called in pros and they installed it beautifully in less than 2 days. I cannot believe how beautiful this floor is, I’m IN LOVE AND OBSESSED!!! It looks absolutely stunning, and I am an extremely particular person. I hope this stand the test of time and will update the review if necessary. As of now, I’d recommend this in a heartbeat and would but it over and over and over. It’s hard to believe anyone would pay more for thin plastic (LVP). Buy the Pergo!!!

Good and firm product, easy to clean, good quality.

We use this product in my fathers home back in 2018, and quality was great. We purchased 3 pallets to complete our entire home. Sad the joints where damaged, brittle and would not connect. Many of the faces were chipped or discolored (about 2 1/2 boxes) unable to use. We have alway been a user of Pergo and said to say the quality has gone down. We also used prego in our Powell Ohio home and didn’t seem to have these quality issues.

Redid my whole house only to find out that if you drop water on floor and don't see it this is how your floor ends up. NOT IF YOU HAVE KIDS OR PETS.

Love, love, love my new floor. We previously installed Pergo, so when we decided to chage it this year and do the kitchen, dining, and living room, Pergo was my go-to flooring!

The locking edges were weak and imperfect, surface seems pretty durable. It’s ok for the price

We bought Pergo defence Tannery brown oak floor because we thought pargo is good brand so expecting high quality so don’t mind to pay more. But after installation of flooring we figure out in 2 month that locking is popping up one by one.we checked when installation done, it was fine at that time. Also color variation is too much in each boxes and very noticeable. Not happy at all. It’s also not scratch or dent resistant at all. I have no pets no small kids or rough use still it’s not scratch resistant at all. Locking is very poor and cheap quality . Even we hired professional guys for installation and they did perfect job still locking has start popping out in 2 month. Don’t recommend this product. Don’t go with name brand Pergo because it’s waste of money.

We installed this flooring in our kitchen, dining room, hallway, and utility room around May 2020. Flooring has already chipped along many seams, will bubble easily if water sits for anything over a few minutes. We're very disappointed in the flooring.

I’ve only had it down about six weeks, but so far I absolutely love it. It feels like real wood beneath your feet. Very hard….solid flooring. Super easy to clean. Just water with a little bit of vinegar in a spray bottle for touchups. I’m using the Bona mop to clean the whole floor every few weeks, but I filled the cartridge with just water and vinegar. One of the representatives at Pergo said not to use any other cleaner on it. Very happy with this Pergo product! Oh, and the staircase we used the matching Cap-A-Treads made by Zamma also available at Home Depot!

DO NOT buy this floor! Pergo does not stand behind their products. I will never buy Pergo again!

Great floor , did the whole top floor of my house ... kitchen was done 4 years ago still looks great , flooring is very durable...

Beautiful floors. Only issue was we purchased 46 boxes and 10 of them had different serial numbers-even though the boxes all looked identical-which didnt interlock with the other floor. Luckily my handyman had to make special cuts to make it work.

After a month of sampling products, I choose the Java. I was afraid of how dark it was, but it's beautiful. I put this throughout my home (minus the tiled areas kitchen, bathrooms and entry way). I'm very proud of my decision. (6mm underlayment was used)
