Soft Oak Glazed not cream colored as shown
4000 Sq Ft of Soft Oak Glazed Pergo flooring. The most important subject to address is COLOR. Online it seems to show a soft cream colored floor with some grey undertones. In reality, this flooring has almost no beige or cream color in it. It is primarily a soft grey color with a sandy colored undertone. The flooring is gorgeous but it is not beige. FYI: Home Depot lumps all Pergo reviews together so when posting a pic or review please include the color so the rest of us know what we are seeing.

do not buy
false advertising! it is not water proof, the edges have lifted. also just having it a few weeks its starting to chip. it was also the hardest vinyl plank install ive ever done, so i hired proffesionals to finish and they also said it was the most difficult planks theyve installed yet. i spent thousands to install this and i highly dont reccomend anyone to waste there money on this. now i have to spend thousands to remove and replace this. im very upset.

Brightens the room!
Due to a leak in my bathroom, my flooring had to be replaced. I saw this Pergo and fell in love with it! Loved the color and that it is waterproof. About 3 weeks later, I discovered a really bad leak under my kitchen sink that required the flooring in both the kitchen and family rooms to be replaced. I did not hesitate to go for this Pergo! It is pet proof! I hope this will still be available next year so I can put it in my living room.

Waterproof flooring
This floor was installed as a replacement for moisture resistant flooring that was damaged in a basement flood. I’m happy with how this new flooring looks and am hopeful about it being waterproof should another flood occur. It looks like wood.

Unsatisfaed Home Depot costumer
Very poor quality and very ugly don’t buy this flooring learn from me! It has been only a week since the flooring was installed, I was wondering if I can able to return the flooring after uninstall to Home Depot with out the out cover, what a waste of money. Major Flooring Disappointment
Within six months post-installation, large gaps began to form between the Pergo planks (purchased from and installed by Home Depot) in several areas of our main kitchen. HD advised that new flooring tends to float during the first winter season as it adjusts to the environment change. The gapping did not self-resolve and after 6 amateurish attempts from HD at fixing the problem, we have given up. I strongly recommend considering an alternative laminate product or partner for the installation.

Overall I’m really happy with the quality of the floors....
Overall I’m really happy with the quality of the floors. I’ve got them installed about a month ago and so far I haven’t noticed any major issues with the quality. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for reasonably priced waterproof/ resistant flooring.

DOES NOT HOLD UP
Damage from water multiple places after only a few months. Can not hold up to even a small amount of water for a short period of time. One drop is enough to destroy the floor.

DON"T BUY- Please learn from my mistakes
This floor has not held up at all to basic wear and tear. One droplet of water can ruin the entire board. Corners will just chip off in high traffic areas due to wear. This floor only lasted a couple months before these issues started happening.

Not an easy floor to install
This floor certainly wasn't easy to install. Like a previous post it has a learning curve. The colors are more of a blueish tint than a brown and it needs a lot of light color surrounding it look good.
This floor won't look good in a dark room. It takes a fair amount of effort to lock the pieces put once together this floor is no way going to come apart. I actually had a part of the run in the hallway I
had to install backwards and it was easier than the rest of the floor to work with. Looks great when finished. and has held up well. One more thing about the color. I ordered 5 of the samples and put them together and I still wasn't sure about the floor. So make sure you like it before you order it. The sample online is not the color of the actual floor.

great floor! install tricky for DIY. pic of the bevels attached
I actually really like this floor and i prefer it over the vinyl planks i installed in a different room last year. As other reviewers said, the install is very difficult as the planks do separate quite easily and you will be adjusting them up until the very end of your install and afterwards. I suggest using your hands to push the planks together on the long side first, and then hammering the short side in, as opposed to the other way around, as this method seems to provide a tighter fit. Lastly i felt it was necessary to add a picture of the beveled edges, as this is hard to see until you are completely finished. As you can tell from the photo, there’s actually about a half inch slight bevel on all sides that creates a nice pretty texture/dimension effect.
