We wanted a rustic look for our kitchen/half-bath laundry. The problem with using reclaimed wood is to put it on the floor, you have to scrape all the old paint off and then use tons of poly urethane on top of it. We saw this, and it had the look and color we wanted. Also Pergo is low maintenacnce, which is important in a kitchen. This as a great first step in redoing our kitchen. It went in easy, and looks great. There is a color variation depending on the light--see attached pics. In dim light it looks very brown, in bright light grays come out with some white and yellowish-browns. Any blue mentioned is more shadows being thrown. The before and after speak for themselves.

This flooring is relatively easy to install if you have flooring experience and it’s relatively indestructible (dogs, kids, etc). We had previously installed it in our basement and we were impressed we bought the dockside color to put in our beach house we are remodeling.

This is the 4th time I've used Pergo, and the 2nd time for this particular style/model, I've had no issues until this time. I'm in the process of blending the 1st install of this style (which was great, no issues) in the kitchen into the dining room, which is the 2nd time for this model #. To be clear, the same flooring was bought at 2 different times, within 6-8 months of each other, but matching it up isn't the issue. The QUALITY of the product is the issue. I'm 3/4 of the way thru the project and I just had the 4th piece chip on the edge AFTER it was down, all on the same edge and not until the next piece was being installed and the 2 edges came in contact with each other. Please don't tell me I'm hitting them too hard, because I'm not, and this isn't my first rodeo with laminate flooring. Also noticing how the short edges have ever so slightly tapered edges that gives the flooring the look that it isn't seating properly, but all the other edges are square, so it has to be the cut on those short edges. So very frustrated right now, words can't express it. I've had to pull up SOOOO many pieces to get to the ones that chipped, I'm at a loss for words. Actually, I have several words I could use, but I'm sure HD won't print my review if I use them.

Not really a snap fit as described, but still great product! You have to use plastic wedge blocks and literally beat the pieces together to get them to snap. The durability is what makes this flooring. I left some scrap pieces outside for the past two months. They've been rained on, in direct sunlight, etc. There is no damage to the pieces. I couldn't believe it!

      Beautiful flooring!
I researched before deciding on this flooring. We wanted a driftwood look water proof multi colored laminate. Its beautiful and we get many compliments on it. Idk what the review about it not being natural for flooring??? That makes no sence at all! Was easy to install, we have installed laminate before and this was no problem. Its in our kitchen and bathroom. It goes with many decor options and colors. I highly recommend this flooring

I have put this product in two rooms of my house and one set of stairs on the way to my full house. As for ease of installation, it takes some time to get used to putting this floor together and you need the proper tools. This flooring does not just "snap" together. You have to use a tap block, rubber mallet, and and pull bar. I have not had a chance to test the water resistance of the product yet as I have only had in my house for a couple of months. Durability seems good. I have two dogs, 1 dog is 100 lbs and the other is 15 lbs. and have not had any issues with chipping or scratching yet. Only time will tell. The color looks great.

Decided on this product due to the 100% waterproof and 100% scratch proof since we have a Great Dane, a GSD, 2 Cats and 3 Kids. Decided on this color because our walls are a tan color but we really like the grey and more cool toned colors so we needed to find something that has the cool tones with just enough warm to match the wall. This is it!! So pretty! I love the look of the different width boards as well. We've gotten so many compliments on it already. We did have several boxes damaged that were unusable and I'm hoping to return them as soon as we are finished with the project. Not sure how durable they are yet as we just got done installing but we LOVE them so far!

After spending 6 months looking at flooring options for replacing the tile and carpet combination that came with the house I bought several years ago, I did not hesitate when I decided on this product. I wasn't looking at laminate all those months. Everyone around me that was replacing floors was doing Luxury Vinyl Planking. Waterproof!! (I live in Florida). Then one day I happened down the aisle where laminate was at Home Depot and stopped dead in my tracks. Waterproof Pergo! And several of the colors I had not been able to find in anything else. A friend had just done her house with the Luxury Vinyl Planking and the experienced installer took much longer than expected - and swore a lot, lol. Both LVP and Laminate are color copies of wood grains. LVP is plastic. Laminate is wood. All of the LVP I had looked at was 2.5 to 6.5 mm. This product is 10 mm and comes with an attached foam that helps with noise and walking on it. It has a slight satin finish to it, which I liked for dust mopping. I wanted a light wood grain without going with the grey that is so popular now. It is a wider plank with 8 different patterns per case. This Sand Dune Oak is mixed beige and ivory tones. But it would still pair nicely with grey furniture and decor. I was shooting for adding any color with furniture and decor (figuring that was easier to change if I got bored with it) I ordered this product with the 10% over as recommended. The contractor finished in much less time than my neighbor, kept telling me how much he loved this flooring (might even do it in his own home) and when he finished, I was able to return 7 cases of it there was so little waste!! It was approx $400 I got back. My absolute only 'negative' would be that the planks are all the same size so I see the dotted line of every other row lining up. But really that's nothing. I love the floor. I did not go with Home Depot for installation due to too many stories of too many things being surprises and additional costs after they start; this included things that weren't needed. The contractor charged by the hour and came in well below the OD estimate and all was included (demo, hauling away old material, prepping the floor, installation, transitions and edging, new baseboards... I believe a DIY'er would find this one of the easiest products to work with. Love my floor - and did I mention, it's 100% waterproof!!!

I bought this product because Pergo has a good reputation and I trusted in their reputation, but as soon as I started putting it down the backing kept falling of, it chips very easy and some of the pieces didn"t fit as tight as they should and even when you tap it in the edges are very flimsy and fragile and sometimes they would break or flatten

So far my experience with this product has been positive overall. It looks good, it appears to be a quality product (though it's only been installed for a week now). The install wasn't too horrible, assuming you use the right tools to install it. One gripe is that out of the 25 boxes I ordered, 2 boxes were damaged to the point that most of the boards were useless. I waited nearly 3 weeks for the product to arrive, so to have some of it damaged will push out your finished timeline if you have to return/replace damaged goods. Fortunately, I was able to use some of those damaged boards for odd angle cuts, but regardless it would have been nice to have those 2 boxes in reserve for future repairs as I had planned.

Some of the edges that are supposed to lock in place were damaged out of the box. We had to take a razor to several to remove pieces that were broken. This was also the 5th room I have installed laminate flooring in and it was not as user friendly as others. They did not easily lock into each other such that every piece required use of a tapping block. We also had the materials delivered to our house. This was a mistake. The corners of several planks were bashed and one box looked like it had been stored with strapping around it that crushed the grooved edge of all 7 boards. The floor itself looks nice but the install was a pain due to the fact that the materials were damaged within the packaging.

Installed over original hardwood throughout entire house by Home Depot installers and waited a year to review to see how it would hold up. So happy with this floor! Because the boards were so much wider than the hardwood, it helped lessen the squeaking of the original floor. Love that it works great with so many different wall paint colors and decor styles. Does not show dust or pet fur & is super-easy to clean. Has survived several large pet water bowl spills in the kitchen. Had a small issue with a few boards separating on the short ends once the heat came on last winter, but Home Depot quickly sent out my original installation team and they easily fixed everything in half an hour.

We love this flooring! My husband installed the flooring, and the joints sealed perfectly together. He needed to knock the boards tight together after clicking it in, using a mallet that you can buy separately. Inspect each piece before you lay them down, to make sure the tongue and groove are not damaged. Some pieces had minor imperfections or bumps that he needed to cut out a bit with a utility knife so they would connect without having to beat them in too hard. The color is lovely, and has a peaceful almost beachy look to it. The dogs and cats run all over it and no scratches. They drip water on it and it beads up, and we wipe it off. We put felt pads on all the chair and table legs, and we also bought natural rubber backed rug pads on Amazon to put under rugs. We read that rubber or latex backed rugs (that are not natural rubber) can react chemically and leave a stain on laminate floors. Also got rollerblade wheels for our office chair. We are very happy with this floor!!

Just the light gray color we were looking for. The room is beautiful, and looks very classy now that the rug and furniture are in place. It was easy to install, and clicks together with a tight seam. The only disappointment was that the multi-purpose reducer trim pieces are not long enough for large areas in a room. For example, we have a wide fireplace with a floor hearth that is in the middle of a wall so the flooring butts up to the front and sides of it. I need an overlapping trim piece that is close to nine feet long, but the trim piece is only 74", requiring a pieced section to complete. It did not look right, and we chose not to go with it. We are forced to have that area custom cut and painted/stained to complete the project.

The floor is absolutely gorgeous. We carefully followed the instructions as we always do. This was not our first pergo floor installation but this particular floor is horrible two days after installing this floor we started to notice seams everywhere. We went and purchased caulk. We applied the caulk and it worked well. We are pleased, but we were not prepared to spend $1500 on a floor that would then cost us extra to patch it up. Again it’s beautiful but I’m not happy about the extra work we had to put into it. I will post pics

The Sand Dune Oak Laminate Flooring was the best choice for my home. My wood paneled walls are dark and I was trying to avoid a cabin look. The lighter color does brighten up the place and it gives the appearance of more space, as compared to the previous carpeting and vinyl tiles. The quality of the product is very good. I had a contractor from Home Advisor install the flooring. Although I could have done the work, the contractor had all the necessary tools. In addition, hallways and borders can be very difficult for any layman. The contractor spent 4 hours on my hallway alone. His fee was very reasonable and I was impressed with the final product.

I remodeled the 1/2 bath with this Pergo Outlast in the Graceland Oak color. The install was easy and locked tight. I have a slab ranch and installed this Pergo over top of a very well glued down Linoleum. Went down good and laid flat. Make sure to order the 3/4 round shoe mold and transition strip. It looks good, the wife loves it.

I like Pergo flooring, and this color is pretty enough, but I have no idea why Pergo stopped carrying Scottsdale Oak- I used that color in a couple other areas of our remodel and enjoy the brown/grey contrast on it. This Graceland Oak is more just grey, and more a washed-out grey. It's pretty once you put furniture in the room & stuff, but on its own, it doesn't really look like wood- you can tell it's a laminate. Once you get the furniture in, you may be able to fool some more people. But yeah, big miss on Pergo's part to not continue with the Scottsdale Oak which was a lot more on trend with what you see in magazines and tv shows. We installed this Graceland Oak in two rooms of our home and install went fine.

This is a solid product. Once laid down it is quiet and sturdy. I bought a lesser priced brand and had to remove it because it was flimsy and would not lock together. The Pergo I replaced it with looks great.
