Excellent feeder. THE BIRDS LOVE IT!!

It is like it's not meant to be outside... corroded super fast and looks horrible!

This is just about the perfect feeder. I wanted one that is squirrel proof so tried this one and so glad I did. This is my second one. My first one was copper. This one is red to match my hummingbird feeders. They are easy to open and super easy to refill with a hopper. They do empty fast though because so many birds can stand on them at once. The outside bed of the feeder will clump up over time but priced so they are economically easy to replace. Love it and so do the birds.

Very cute! Birds love it. Very easy to fill. I hung on an 84” Vigaro “shepherds hook” also bought at at Home Depot. Hung it yesterday afternoon and this morning many little pretty birds are visiting it. Many I never saw before. Very entertaining to watch. The little squirrel I have in my yard (one only that I’ve ever seen) is curious but has not figured out how to get to it since the pine tree branches are not near enough. I hung a corn cob in a nearby tree for him and he enjoyed that.

Very easy to put bird seed in & the birds LOVE it !!!! Has a ledge for the bird to sit on and eat. It's super cute!

Just what I was looking for. The birds in my yard love it. From the small sparrows to the large mourning doves.

This item is copper colored; it is not a copper metal. It started to rust within a month it's a little difficult to refill I have to take it off of the shepherd's hook, put it on the ground and use two hands to push a button and lift the lid.

I purchased this to hang in our front yard next to the suit feeder. This looks good and is easy to fill. The birds prefer the suit but there are a few that like the seed as well. The roof keeps the rain off the seed except for when it rains sideways. However, it’s easy enough to clean out any wet seed in the bottom of the feeder. The roof is held in place with the stopper on the cord and is easy to move to open the roof to add more seed.

I've purchased about 20 feeders over the last 20 years. This is the best. (I have a separate squirrel baffle which removes that issue.) It's easy to fill. Sometimes there are 4 Sparrows, or a cardinal feeding. Features: a) birds stand on the circular rail. b) easy to see level of seed. c) seed stays dry even in the rain. d) hangs anywhere that you can place a hook. e) This is my 2nd. The 1st is over 2 years old and looks the same.

Have had this feeder for three weeks. Birds love it. Using Nutra Saff Saflower, it attracts cardinals, finches, chickadees, nuthatches.

Birds love it but unfortunately so do squirrels. I purchased this bird feeder so cardinals and larger birds would be able to eat from it over the winter. The last birdfeeder I had the squirrels got to it and it broke. Hopefully the same doesn't happen this one.

Good, simple feeder. The roof is a good angle for birds that want to perch. The feeding slit is wide enough to let larger seeds and peanuts go through, but not too large that there is an uncontrollable cascade. The one down side to the feeder is that it can be a bit tricky to clean. Awkward to describe the problem, but here it goes: It can easily disassemble into its components, but they remain attached by the reinforced chord. Being a *short* attached chord, you have to be a bit careful to wrangle your hand into the plastic feeding channel (cylinder) without scraping your arm on the sharp-ish edge/pointy bits.

I have had this feeder for one week and I can't believe the amount and variety of birds that have already visited. Cardinals, Blue Jays, Finches, Wrens, Doves, Chickadees, Woodpecker, Robins, Blackbirds, Sparrows, and even a family of 10 turkeys!!! Not to mention all of the bunnies that come to visit in the evening to eat the seed that has fallen to the ground. No squirrels or chipmunks have been able to get into this feeder either, despite their attempts! The feeder is sturdy, attractive and can feed up to 5 birds at once. The wraparound bar can hold even the bigger birds like Blue Jays and Doves. I am so pleased with this feeder that I plan on purchasing another!!!

Love how easy it is to fill and clean. Very pretty, and the birds love it! I've had it several weeks and still happy with the purchase. Would definitely recommend!

this is perfect for feeding my tiny birds

We wanted to love this, but no matter what we do or where we put this, the squirrels get into it. They sit on it or knock it down and the lid doesn’t stay locked when that happens (it comes apart entirely) and they get all the seed. It’s been knocked down every day. We added extra poles to extend the length, changed trees and heights, no matter what we do nothing works. It will have to go back. It did attract beautiful birds, which is why I gave it two stars. I did not try a stand alone pole as that doesn’t meet our needs.

My birds love this feeder and I enjoy watching them every day. The only problem I had when I picked it up was that one of the plastic pieces was broken but it still works okay.

After a month of use I can say that this is a great feeder. However, it is best used on a freestanding feeder station equipped with a squirrel baffle to keep the squirrels off. I have also had it on my 48 inch deck hooks and been fairly successful there, but the pesky squirrels will be attracted to this perky pet feeder (like all others) as soon as you put food in it. I use a black oil sunflower, safflower, and sunflower chips mix and this is one of my most visited feeders. In fact, this is the only one my Eastern Bluebirds will feed on. In addition to the blue birds... cardinals, gold and house finches, nuthatches, chickadees, sparrows, titmouse and even a few woodpeckers frequent this feeder in my North Carolina yard. The feeder itself is brighter red than the more crimson photo pictured, but it was close enough for me to be happy with my purchase. After experimenting I firmly believe the food that you have in the feeder is more important to the birds than the feeder itself, though with the metal wrap around stand the larger birds are able to feed on this one more so than other tube feeders I have had in the past. The tube, lid locker and center support where the hanging wire attaches are plastic, but other than that it is all metal and a comes apart for fairly easy cleaning (twist the plastic tube counterclockwise and the bottom frees up to lower away), You won't be able to remove the pieces off the hanging wire but I was able to clean it very well working around the limitation. All in all this is probably the best tube feeder I have owned and would highly recommend it as long as you are not hanging it from a tree or anywhere near a stationary object a squirrel can climb down or launch from. On last note: I had purchased one of the copper colored ones in the store and liked it so much I decided to order a couple of red ones from the website. The red feeders where not stocked locally in our stores. This was my first experience with Home Depot online ordering. It was very easy and updates were delivered from point of purchase through pickup. Well worth the short wait and no difference in the feeders other than the color, which is a personal preference.

Looks great...however I do have some adventurous squirrels that will lean over and hang onto the feeder to get a few treats. Now I have squirrels much closer than usual...

Nice feeder a squirrel knocked it down from hanging thin rope and it did not break in any way holds good amount of seed also

The birds love this feeder! It's easy to fill and holds enough seeds for approx. 3 weeks! I did have to buy a hook to put it on, but no big deal.

Love this feeder! The design keeps the rain from soaking the seed and it holds enough that you don't need to fill it every day. Birds of many sizes flock to this feeder and it will easily allow for four to six birds at a time to feed (depending on which one is the most bossy!). The feeder is also very attractive.

Good birdfeeder design, however, the bottom plastic tabs need to be reinforced (2 have broken off). Very nice looking and I am going to try and fix the cylinder plastic bottom tab issue.

I love this bird feeder! The birds seem to love it also they can grab a seed and perch on the ledge, turn around to face out for protection and eat. Only complaint was that I was under the impression based on the description that it was squirrel proof, but somehow they loosened the lid a couple of times. My husband added a little tape to the top and it’s been golden ever since. Highly recommend.
