Product was broken when it arrived.

Noticed yesterday that the birds weren't using the feeder and when I checked on it the squirrels had broke it so it's staying closed, plan to return to the store!

Since we filled it the birds have not fed from it. My wife and I have monitored the feeder for the last three days with no results. The only thing that’s not happening is the squirrels have not been able to steal food from the feeder. I have adjusted the spring twice already but still no birds. We had another supposed stop squirrel feeder that the squirrels have destroyed but kept the birds fed pretty well fed when the squirrels were’t on it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It is a Squirrel- proof feeder that does live up to it’s name. It is designed very well. The only criticism is that it is too light-weight. The previous one I had was identical but much more substantial. Even with 2 lbs. of bird seed this one is still too light and sways with the slightest breeze which the birds don’t like.

I have been buying these feeders for over 30 years. This one is a different design than all previous ones. (And not as shown in the photos. Pros 1/ The feeding tube is now good quality thick plastic that can now be disassembled for cleaning. The base is attached by a much better system and great for cleaning. Cons. The cage is now very poorly made and badly twisted. It looks like it's been built by a child in the backstreets of Bangkok or similar. The perches, previously substantial rod, are again just thin pieces of bent wire. Additionally, I had to spend time cutting off pieces of cage that were jamming the sliding mechanism. But - the birds like these feeders more than any other squirrel resistant one, so I'll put up with the issues!

Hosts small birds, sparrows and chickadees. IT works well at befuddling the squirrels!

Sturdy and works great keeping the squirrels from getting at the bird seed. Looks great and easy tofill.

The outer metal cage is poorly fitted to the seed container. The perches are nothing more than twisted wire crimped onto the cage, not actually built in as previous models. Instead of the seed container being a single squared tube, it's now a two piece plastic housing. The seeds fall out from the bottom. Very disappointed. The older model lasted about a year, I brought the new one back after one day. Got tired of watching the squirrels eating up the seed from the bottom.

Squirrels try getting food out but the feeder moves and dumps the seeds on the ground

The top three welds on the roof were undone but one was still fine so the product worked. It was a gift and I do not have a local store so could not easily exchange

It keeps the big birds out of the feeder, so it works great!

Arrived with manufacturing defect, and the replacement on the store's shelf also had similar defects.

Just another bird feeder

I love these feeders. The one that I recently bought was to replace one that broke after several years of constant use. They are the only ones that have successfully saved my food from the (very cute) squirrels. I have four of them and they last for years. The birds love them and the easy access. The perches are almost always full (with more patrons waiting patiently for their turn).

It does the job well.

I am on year 8 with this and no issues. When taking it apart to clean, check moving parts and add some light oil. If you don’t perform preventative maintenance on your car, it’s not going to last. Most the negative comments are from folks that have clogged intake fans on their PCs/laptops I bet lol

The feeder works great. Havent had any squirrels bothering yet. Hooray.

Feeder looks nice. The functional design is horrible. Flimsy construction it lasted one fall/ winter before falling apart. Would not recommend there are much better feeders out there

So I put this in the same place as our old one and filled it with the same seed. No idea why, but we have no traffic. It’s as full as it was three days ago and we haven't seen any birds. I’ll be returning it.

Not Squirrel resistant at all. This birdfeeder did not last. Squirrels chewed up the feed holes. Company doesn't offer replacement parts. Had to throw away...waste money.
