Works well as our 9 month old very athletic puppy went through the fence with the smaller shock collar on the highest setting

We have now had this collar for our 90lb chocolate lab for 3 years now. Works great, never had an issue. After 2 years the battery light still had not come on yet meaning replacement but I changed it anyways to be on safe side. Highly recommend.

The dog is 100lbs but it is working better with only a couple times he’s gotten out.

Great product. I have a 16-year-old coonhound who is high energy and loves to search my 2- acre yard/wooded lot. Once he catches a scent, however, it's really hard to keep him from following his instincts. The collar keeps him from climbing over or under the fence.

We needed a new battery for our guy and decided he needed a replacement collar also. The last one lasted about 21/2-3 years and he is in and out all of the time. Easy to put together and new battery can be set to threshold that accommodates your needs easily. It is only on when he is outside and off the minute he is in. Never alone outside but we never worry when he is chasing critters and our other dog who also has a Pet Safe collar on. Easy to use tool to make sure it is working and set at right threshold.

This is a great product. It was easy to set up. Easy to use and it keeps my 90 pound dog to her line. Shipped incredibly fast.

I have two Neapolitan mastiffs. One is 190lvs and the other is 170lbs, male and female. We ha e a large property but lots of other houses around, no one has fences including us. While everybody else's dogs are tied up on chains outside, our two big dogs get to roam free along our property because of these collars. Keeps them super happy and all the other dogs are jealous! I didn't think it would work because they are so big. My male weighs as much as a human man, but they only tested at one time at each boundary line and they've never gone back.they can run full speed to our property line and they know when to stop. it doesn't matter if people walk by or other dogs go by, they don't bother with them. It's a lifesaver to be able to just let your dogs out the door when they have to go to the bathroom and let them get exercise without having to worry about driving to dog parks or taking two big dogs out on a leash!

Bout this about a year ago and yes it works as it says, keeps my dog inside the parameter laid, etc. I have aprx 2 acres that he stays within when I have the collar on. However there is a very bad-strong-odor the collar puts off. This is probably from the thick coat, sweat, etc my Lab puts off but is not only Stuck on the collar but After numerous baths, etc I can’t seem to get the smell off from around his neck. There needs to be a rubber collar option that doesn’t hold the smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been sitting in our garage as a backup collar for a couple years, works perfectly along the fence line, but its waterproof features are a little tough, water got into the collar and made the battery go bad.

Excellent product! Our family got a new puppy and we needed a second collar because we also have another dog. Our Stubborn Dog underground fence is about 6 yrs old and this additional collar works just fine with our older underground system. The collar arrived within a couple days of ordering. It took about 2wks to train our new little gal to the system and now she completely obeys it! Thanks Petsafe!!! As always a great product! By the way...the original Petsafe collar that came with our underground fence 6 YEARS AGO is still going strong as well! A testament to its quality!

I bought a collar almost 10 years ago and it broke last year. it was nine years old. i replaced it with the one shown in the photo and its lasted less than a year and the battery does not last long at all. It beeps and vibrates but does not correct so my dog figures this out and escapes the yard. I have hounds so its very difficult to get them back in when this happens plus it doesn't make my neighbors very happy.

This one did the trick for a Lab that was doing fine for a year on the deluxe ultra but started getting out of the boundary line. I started w/ the 3 setting & is good after 1.5 days & still wroking. Theo was getting out everyday for a week.

It mat be a great collar but my stubborn dog (GSP) still went right through the fence line and it was as high as it goes.

This was a replacement collar as we lost the other. It works great!

The collar works great at first. It will beep 10 feet from the line then vibrating 7 feet from the line and then starts shocking after that. But once the collar is about 2 to 6 months old it gets to where it will start beeping at three feet from the line and then vibrating is about 2 feet from the line and then it starts shocking. I have had seven or more collars and they all end up doing the same thing.

It did not keep our dog inside the fence. I tried it with my fingers just to make sure it was working and got a major shock. But it didnt slow our dog down one iota

Good collar. They do go bad after 3 years or so. Have been using for last 7 years but for 5 dogs.

Erratic operation. 2 new identical units side by side have significant different performance which is not repeatable.

Terrible and misleading dog collar. No wear on the packaging did it tell me that this was for the Inground system . I bought this thinking it was just a regular dog barking collar for a stubborn dog that needed a better system then the normal bark collar.... I really need to return this due to it does not work cause i do not have this system and i do not have the packaging .

I bought this for my 6 month old male labrador. It has worked brilliantly. I recommend this for any rambunctious dog.
