I am returning. Very poor directions. Cartridge came from factory installed with cold on left. Can't adjust temp high enough. Some water still comes out of spout when in shower mode. Slip on tub filler leaked around oring, if wall wasn't still open I would never had known and caused major water damage in time.

Broken from day one
I bought this set a couple of months ago for our only bathroom reno. We finally did the reno over the past two weeks, had the plumber install the set yesterday, go to use it last night for the first time and the part on the faucet wont stay up so water comes out of the shower head and faucet at the same time. We had to stick a piece of folded cardboard under it to keep it up so we could shower. Pretty disappointing because this set was not cheap and we were waiting since May for our bathroom to be redone. I read the other reviews and it looks like this set will just continue to break in the next 6 months.

    Disappointed!
    We just got a house and noticed some the previous owner's choice faucets were burshed nickel Pfisters, so we went and bought this set for our new built full bath. And sure enough, like most of the reviews here, problems came up immediately, according to our contractor, from valve mechanism to fit. Still, we wanted some uniformity, we ended up buying the cheaper Pfister Ladera just now. Hope this one works this time.

      problem with handle, spout, cartridge
      Bough this in 2016 but I wish I had read the review first. A year after installation, the handle won't work because the PLASTIC gear used at the handle broke as it's too much force for the plastic to hold. Then got a brass replacement. Then comes the hot water is just lukewarm... so I adjusted the setting up a bit so we can turn the handle up more. A year later, there's no cold water, only hot and very hot. So I guess the cartridge is faulty this time. Though I got a replacement parts, but I have to spend more on the plumbers because we live in a condo and cannot shutoff the water by ourselves. This product should be recalled and pulled out of the shelve.

        Like the set, however you can tell it was a returned item since it was scratched and the thread connector was already in the handle along with one in the box. We had to use it due to our timeline on our project.

        Bad quality shower faucet
        The product looks really sturdy and nice once installed but shower faucet valve started causing issues in just 3 days of use. The valve that turns water on for the shower head started malfunctioning and it does NOT stay on. The plumber had recently installed the full set and so we recycled packaging trusting the brand. I am not sure how we can resolve this issue or even return the product since it is installed and we do not have packaging available for return. This issue seems common reading all the reviews now, I wish we would have read reviews prior to our purchase. I am calling Pfister tomorrow to see if they can offer any help since the product is under warranty.

          I messed up and did not read the reviews but...
          I messed up and did not read the reviews but right out of the box the bath spout had the problem everyone mentioned. The diverted does not stay up and water comes out both the shower and bath. Luckily with the warranty I was able to get a new bath spout and chose a different one at no cost. The shower head has a nice spa feel. Once I got the replacement I was very happy with the shower and bath.

          Although this is a beautiful set, buyer beware. The shower diverter on the tub faucet stopped working after less then a week. The handle also feels loose. Really wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this set. Given all the negative reviews, you would think that Pfisher would fix the known problems.

                Shower head dripping constantly
                We had our bathroom remodeled and loved the look of the Ventura shower set. However, it is dripping constantly. We had the contractor come back to try and fix it and now it’s worse. Unfortunately, the box got thrown away so I can’t take it back to Home Depot and exchange it for another set. Yikes, not a happy customer at all!

                  Bought this in 2017 and lasted 3 years before the plastic valve extension broke. Went to the store and noticed they are now making them in brass which is what they are sending me. Not a good design with torque on the handle out of plastic. Poor design on trying to save a few production dollars.

                    Pfister should be ashamed of themselves to sell a faucet of such poor quality. The tub faucet worked for about a week. Then it would not divert water up to the shower. We called Pfister and they did inform us that it has a lifetime warranty and they're going to send out a replacement part to fix it. Then the shower would not get warm enough so I had to look up a YouTube video on how to adjust the temperature setting on the faucet because the instructions are not very good. I would definitely go with another unit if I were you.
