I like the facets on this bulb, it really shines upward and downward better than other candle typ...
I like the facets on this bulb, it really shines upward and downward better than other candle type LED bulbs....however, it is dimmer than other 40W equivalent LEDs and is rated at 2700K but is more yellow than my other 2700K bulbs and that is noticeable and is why I won't be buying these bulbs again.

At full power, they give out a very clean white light, and at the lowest power, they give out a nice warm glow that is indistinguishable from the incandescents it replaced. These are perfect bulbs for the application (ceiling fan).
Am happy with the purchase, would buy again, and would purchase online from Home Depot for local pickup, saving $1.40 a bulb over the store price.

They were recommended by lighting associate in the store based on special price that day; I appreciated her help on that (saving money); they work fine in my ceiling fixture; give off great light in my dark kitchen and look good when light is off. Installed them in ceiling light that I bought from Home Depot that everyone comments on.

The bulbs supposed to change the color with dimming. I cannot see this effect. I should have ordered the 60W equivalent, but I am not confident to claim that the 40W type is less bright than my old 40W bulbs. The visual impression might be caused by the whiter color of the LED light.

Have been looking for something like this for quite a while and these work perfectly in our master bath overhead lighting. They dim to a warm glow but are bright white at full power. Perfect for our application.

Have been looking for something like this for quite a while and these fit the bill perfectly. Used all four in the lights above our master bathroom cabinets/mirrors. I have a dimmable switch wired and these work perfectly, going from a warm glow at the low end to a nice bright white at the high setting.

Love this bulb! Was worried it would be slightly brighter than the incandescent bulbs we have in there now, but it was perfect! It also dims to a very warm color which is exactly what we wanted. This performs and looks as good as an incandescent.
