Replaced 60watt incandescent bulbs with these 7.5watt led bulbs to reduce power usage for a 6 bulb bathroom vanity fixture. They are just as bright, if not brighter, than the incandescent bulbs they replaced Very pleased with the results. Hopefully they will last as long as they claim.

ONE day after I installed one of the light bulbs, it came crashing down on to the steps. At first I thought I did not install it properly. At close examination of light socket the the metal screw part of the bulb was still installed. The glass part of the bulb separated from the "screw part". (I did not over tighten) It was difficult to unscrew the remains of the light. I used the 1/2 potato trick to unscrew the metal. Not easy to do this since the glass part that hold the filaments was protruding; so I had to carve my "potato head tool" to make room for the filament holder.BTW, I discovered to broken glass pieces on the steps on Halloween when the kids came to trick or treat for candy. Where was the light bulb made?: I n China where most of your store stock is made!
