Flickers and turns yellow
When it worked correctly, they looked great. But after a few weeks, several of these bulbs in different light fixtures turned yellow and started to flicker. Will be returning them to the store and buying a different brand.

This is a very well designed light bulb that you can use both indoors and outdoors, also in wet locations. I installed it in a lamp in our family room and it puts out a bright light that illuminates the room nicely. It claims it will last up to 13 years and saves you money on energy. These bulbs are longer than standard bulbs and they are dimmable.and there is no hum from the bulb when you turn it down.

Great antique style with a modern, energy saving feature! This LED light bulb operates at low temperatures making these bulbs perfect to use for outdoor general lighting and for security. When lit, this bulb gives a clean white light (daylight) that seems brighter than regular 60-watt incandescent bulbs. I also like that these provide 360-degree illumination without that large, ugly ballast near the base that's typically found on regular LED bulbs or compact fluorescents. Switching over to long life (15000 hrs.) and the lower energy usage of LED bulbs make perfect economic sense in my household.

The ceiling fan in my dining room has the perfect schoolhouse fixture for using a vintage glass bulb; for cozy gatherings, it normally has a 5W (40 watt equivalent), 2200K (Warm White) bulb that provides a nice amber glow (Photo #1). For a number of reasons, the dining room table is often the place where work gets done and better quality of light is needed. This Phillips bulb fits the bill; it's 8.8W (60 watt equivalent) and 5000K (Daylight) color rendering (Photo #2). As an LED it's ECO-friendly and should last a long time (comes with 5-year limited warranty); it's also dimmable.
I would recommend this product.

Very good looking and very classy light bulb. This is a oval shaped bulb that look great on any overhead fixture. It also has the deison style bulb shaps and the actulat light fillimant is shapped like a class i=olk style bulb. The LED bulb will not get as hot as a tandard bulb and will not take a long time to warm up like a old fluorescent lamps. The is instant on and off with and can be dimmed. Looks great and last a long time with less energy usage. Also this is a bright light bulb or cool white. So beward of that in case you are wanting that style.

Very bright! The bulb looks great, nicely reminiscent of an Edison type. The bulb is also dimmable and compatible for outdoor use. The light color is 5000k, which is in the white spectrum and with a 60W equivalent, it is a bright LED. I like the idea of having a bright bulb in an Edison body. There are other options for something warmer, like a traditional incandescent Edison, but this works very well for a porch set-up. It is an E-26 so it will fit most lamps. I will get more!
