The PicGenie123 Picture Hanging Kit is great for tilt-free hanging, but not quite magic. We received The PicGenie123 Picture Hanging Kit including packages of 10 lb, 30 lb, and 50 lb hangers. Each package has parts to hang 4 pictures. The part numbers are: Model # M10-MK4D - 10 pound Model # M30-MK4D - 30 pound Model # M50-MK4D - 50 pound Each model is sold separately. Start by watching the “how to” videos posted on Home Depot’s product page - they’re ESSENTIAL! The inventor bills these as “fun and easy” - while that may be a bit of an exaggeration, they do work really well for *most* picture hanging situations. As for easy, you still need a level, a screwdriver, a hammer, and possibly a drill. They’re especially good if you live in a “seismically active” area and must constantly re-level your pictures - once installed your pictures won’t tilt! Note: these are designed to work with wood frames or other material to which you can attach the hangers - you MUST be able to drill/screw two hangers to the back of your frame. Refer to the “parts picture” - the little black screws are about ⅜” long. If your frame is too thin the screws will poke through the front. If it’s metal it might be difficult to drill holes for the hangers. (In the “parts picture”, the hangers are the silver items with two holes) But as long as the frames are wood or even thick plastic, I had no trouble attaching the hangers. Once the two hangers are attached, hold the frame against the wall, level it, then press against the wall. The hangers have “points” which poke two small holes in the wall. These holes are where the nails go. The holes may be difficult to find on a textured wall (see pic), but very easy to see on plain/flat walls. Break off the “points” and hang the picture. The points are easy to snap off with one of the nails. Refer to the two close up pictures of the hangers on the back of the frame: “before” with the point in place, and “after” with it snapped off. In addition to nails, the 30-lb and 50-lb packages contain “atomic anchors” - special screw-in mounts which will not pull out like a nail, and have a spacer to sit the perfect distance out from the wall. Note: We received this item free from Home Depot’s “Seeds” program. Home Depot only asked that we provide an honest review.

My first thought was that this seemed an expensive product. However, this product is well thought out, and by far, the easiest way to hang framed items.

Worked exactly as advertised. Only critique is that I don’t like the fact the nails have to go in straight as they can drift out over time. Much prefer a slight upwards angle

I've used this product and it is absolutely amazing. You can't fail. It's simple, easy to use and when your pictures are up, they stay there and they stay straight - always. I have large posters up in my game room where participants bang against the wall during rigorous play. My posters never come down.
