Just what I needed and sturdy enough for my application. The only thing holding back from 5 star were a few (and there were very few) unsightly knots. Overall I am very pleased.

This is a great alternative to tongue and groove wood paneling for an exposed ceiling. None of our guests have realized that the exposed ceiling on our new porch isn’t actually tongue and groove paneling!
We recently built a custom porch using real cedar tree logs for the support posts. My wife wanted to have a tongue and groove exposed wood ceiling but I didn’t want to go to the expense and time of having to install each individual plank. After noticing this siding in the plywood section at the local Home Depot, I decided to give it a try and couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
At just over ½” thick, it was fine to use as a roof deck since our rafters are on 24” centers. It doesn’t flex too much when you walk on it and it was perfect as decking for the R4 metal roof paneling we used to finish off the roof. The only issue you need to pay attention to is to pre-plan where you want to drill the roofing screws into the wood so that they grip on the thicker parts of the panel instead of in the channels.
What I found particularly impressive was that I was able to get it to follow the gentle compound curves over the pitched grand entrance above the front door. To get it to do this, I just cut each board so that it only spanned one or two rafters and used clamps and screws (instead of ring nails) to get the boards to follow the angle of the pitched entrance framing.
Before lifting the roofing boards into place, we pre stained them with an oil-based stain. The wood is very absorbent, so plan on buying a decent amount of stain if you plan to do this.

It is heavy and solid. It looks amazing installed, I would love to leave it natural but it will last longer if I paint it. Installation was easy. Expect it to last 30+ years.

Good quality. Solid. I used it on the ceiling in a back patio and gave it a different look. Looked great. A little rough so may need a quick heavy gritvsanding if you want to stain or paint in order to remove some of the little loose pieces. I would recommend.

We are so pleased with this product and it really dressed up the shed in our back yard. It is remarkable when using the right product what a difference in look one can have. Between the T 1-11 and a fresh coat of good paint it make our shed pop and is no longer a eye sore but a really nice looking shed.

Product worked well, but was soft, took paint unevenly and edges splintered. But overall happy with how the material looks as a soffit material. The variety in texture and appearance actually adds appeal to some.

I love this stuff - it is difficult to work with for many reasons * the over/under lapping needs to be right. * need to carefully measure before cutting out electrical boxes, windows, doors, etc. (cant patch mistakes) * really have to prime well * use good quality exterior gloss paint (its so rough it looks like semi gloss when done) * use lots of caulking on the joints. So all that trouble, why do I like it? The finished product looks great and will last a long time. It will hold up to temperature extremes and take a screw. I would not use the 3/8 T1-11 on anything permanent, maybe a chicken coup, but that's it. No need to worry about where to hang something with this thicker stuff, just hang it. plug up nails or screw holes with caulk. I used Hitachi 6 penny ring shanked hot dipped galvanized 21 degree nails with the framing nailer set at 85 psi with a 12-15" spacing.

I repaired an old storage box. Needed one sheet of T1-11 plywood. I had to remove two damaged sheets to find one that was Decent. The texture was much rougher, than the sheets on the box I was repairing. all the rest in the pile were the same. Not the best quality in my view.
