Easy to use and maintain appropriate levels of chlorine in swimming pool. Best if used in a floating dispenser. I have a 12,000 gallon in-ground pool and I add one to the floater right before the previous tablet is gone (Around 1/8 of tablet left) this way there is no lack or drop in chlorine levels. Tablet last around a week or two at a time.
I put these in my floater and left town for a week. Usually, when I would return I would have zero chlorine when I would check. This time, the chlorine was perfect after a week. I live in South Florida and during this week, we had heavy rains on some days and heavy sun on others, but the chlorine was stable. For me, this means the stabilized chlorine in the tablets made a difference. I am happy with this. On a value note, it is a tablet of chemical. A chemical should not cost so much in 2016. While the vendor does have to cover cost of EPA compliance, I still think THD could buy better and knock the price down by at least 10%.
Don't plan on having any fingernails left when you open this can. Impossible to open without tools, and even with a screw driver and a pliers, you will break whatever nails you have down to the skin. Quality of the pucks seems fine.

Jude, sorry you had trouble opening our product. Please note that our #1 goal is understanding the safety of our product both in the pool and out. This includes child resistant packaging. Some customers find opening the tab easiest while wearing gloves, others have found pulling the tab slightly up as you pull forward helps as well.
