I have shot about 100 nails thru this so far and 4 out of 5 of them fail to sink leaving the nail sticking out of the material. I have adjusted compressor pressure, angle of approach, tip/no tip. It does not matter. I bought this to install the trim molding on my kitchen remodel and am just hacking up my finished molding. I so want it to work since I love the small hole (when it works) but it is just making too much damage to repair the misfired nail. Was a huge Porter Cable fan (2 compressors, 4 other nail guns, sander, circular saw, etc.) but now not sure?

This Porter-Cable Pin Nailer was for my husband to use in a project to update our kitchen cabinets. It was perfect for him to add trim pieces to cover up flaws, particularly on the bottom edges of the cabinets. It worked fine with his air compressor. The little pins hold the trim perfectly and look great, and the project went so much faster and prettier than if he had tried using finishing nails. He is very pleased with this tool, and using it to update our cabinets has saved us a lot of money and time. Well worth the cost.

used this to remodel a store, works great, leaves minimal holes so need for touch up is minimal. the safety can be a bit odd at times but you get used to it. we have used this make and model for as long as i can remember and has never failed me. The hanger on the side comes in very handy.
