The head does not rotate and the string attachment easily cracked upon trying to adjust the head so that it can rotate. When it did, it didn’t even cut the weeds.

Terrible I took it back. The strings kept breaking of every ten feet. They break right where the come out and are hard to get out. I was only using on edge of lawn not weed eating

The trimmer was easy to assemble, start and use. This item exceeded my expectation trimming around our cabin in the woods.

To difficult to change the string. Weeds surround the carburetor and stick to it causing the machine to overheat and turn off. Have to clean out weeds/brush every 5 minutes to 10 minutes.

Instructions were kinda hard to understand putting it together. But it’s very easy to use and cuts pretty well

Great brush cutter. Little wobbly on side hill. But beats mowing hands down.

For the price, this is a good trimmer for tall vegetation around my yard. And, it does a decent job at detailed trimming around house. It is difficult at times to take out old string remnants before putting in a new one. But, other than that, I have no complaints.

Limited use since receiving it. Very easy assembly. Very easy to use, putting cutting line in is easy after getting use to it. I recommend this product.

Trimming line broke the retainer that holds it in place the first hour of use. Manufacturer is shipping new part under warranty. Machine is EZ to use. Medium effort to assemble. Instruction manual type is too small and photos are not worth much help. On-line manual search proved helpful. Use .105 trim line.

I am 76 with very weak legs. This is very easy to use. Only wish they used stronger trimmer string. It breaks easily so trying a heavier string.

We were extremely happy that Home Depot put the Trimmer together for us. We didn't realize how many parts there were. We used the trimmer today and loved how easy it was to operate. The service at Home Depot was excellent!

I like the ease if being able to push instead of carry but its really hard to start and also a pain to change the cutting line

2nd time I used the trimmer it broke !! The bracket t that holds the string broke. Where do I go to get it replaced ????

This product is not good at all, it does not trim as advertised, and is cheaply built. Don't by this product

The third time I used this Trimmer I bumped into a rock and the little square that holds one of the strings in place broke. I called the number listed in the Operator's Manual to see if I could get a replacement part was sent straight to voicemail and then told that the voicemail box was full and "goodbye". Went to my local Home Depot and they don't even carry the Powermate brand let alone any parts. Was also totally disappointed the string is not on automatic feed. Even though it is easy to change the string, it's really annoying to have to do so as often as it needs to be done.

We didn't like it,and took it back to home depot.
