  • not strong enough
  • January 06, 2014

The ends of this box do not overlap, therefore the box has minimal strength against collapsing when an item is shipped. Side load boxes from other manufacturers have overlapping ends. Full-overlap flaps provide extra stacking strength and edge protection

These boxes are brittle and rip easily. The end flaps do not overlap. They meet in the middle and require a lot of tape so your art work does not fall through.

This box is a piece of garbage, the box is so flimsy, while trying to put it together it started ripping. We even tried to secure it by taping cut up boxes in it but that didn’t help either. Total waste of money

  • Great Size For Price Box
  • January 10, 2012

I actually got these to store my husband's collectibles and needed at least 20 and wanted them all the same size. This fit the bill. They came quickly and were exactly as described. They are not too bulky for moving and not too small either. Just the right size even if you fill them with books or heavy items.

  • Great Solution For Flat Contents Such as Frame Material
  • June 18, 2013

This Box Filled a Huge Gap For Us..In its present form. It is a good storage box, but not adequate for a shipping box. Add 2 strips of cardboard at opening and bottom and this makes a great shipping box. This reinforces the edges so it will not crush in transit. Another option is to slice it in half length wise. and make a 2 piece lid box (30" x 2/12" x 24"). Making it a very strong shipping box for flat items. This keeps our shipping costs within low cost guidelines, often dropping a ship-to rate from $22 to $12. Thanks Home Depot. This filled a huge hole in our shipping of framed products and has become our most widely used box.

Pros Easy to Assemble, Functional, Well Made, High Quality of Material, Looks Great, Good Size & Weight, Nice Design Cons not a shipping box in present form., must be re-inforsed to ship

I have been cutting these up and making boxes for my framed art work because they are very weak in this large size. Wish I could return the unused ones but purchased as a bundle of ten.

The boxes tore. The corners were not reinforced for the size of the box. I had a light load and the boxes still tore.

Unfortunately after waiting for the shipping of these boxes they did not stand up to my expectations as far as durability. Used one box and it was hard to get thru a doorway and was flimsy while holding the contents. I would like to return the 4 out of the 5 pack for a refund but I was told they couldnt take them back!! That was a $40+ loss.

  • Durable, Sturdy & Reliable Moving Boxes
  • May 05, 2013
  • Verified Purchase & Recommended Product

We moved from Manhattan to NJ using about 75 boxes (combination of small, med, large) of this brand at Home Depot. They were all extremely durable and sturdy -- very high quality heavy cardboard. All were priced at or near $1/box, very affordable and worthwhile. They held all of our heavy books and office supplies, as well as everything from the kitchen. Every single box held up and stayed in good form. Highly recommend these boxes!

Pros Durable, Easy to Assemble, Well Made, Excellent Quality, High Quality of Material, Sturdy, Good Size & Weight
