Expansive gardening made possible!

A real back saver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Preen for many years and I am so happy there is a product available that prevents all the thousands of maple seeds that flutter down into my flowerbeds every year from sprouting into a forest. I apply in early spring and there is no bending over and pulling trees anymore. It keeps my flowerbeds weed free and beautiful...Love it

Easy and Effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Preen Garden Weed Preventer has saved so much work for me, I can't imagine doing without it. I apply it over our dry-laid slate walk and it keeps weeds from sprouting in the crevices between stones. It does a great job around perennials and annuals in my flower beds. This product lives up to its promises.

Proof is in the pictures!

As you can see, I used Preen on the left side (East) and did not use on the right (West) as the rain came in and lasted for 3 days. Here are the pictures to prove that Preen really works!! Love it.

Couldn't garden without it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every spring and fall I faithfully spread Preen Garden Weed Preventer over my huge flowerbeds. I live right down the road from Cottonwood Park, and I found out the hard way: one year without Preen and all those fluffy, windblown cottonwood seeds sprouted into a veritable carpet of seedlings that took many hours of backbreaking work to eradicate. Preen lets me save my energy for the more enjoyable tasks of gardening.

BEST PRODUCT EVER!

An absolute MUST!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using PREEN for 15 years, at the recommendation of my brother, an urban forester for the city of Herndon, VA. Has been an absolute time-saver!!! I tried another brand - Miracle Grow one year - no comparison - soooo many weeds.
I use PREEN on our 2 acre property in southwest PA...I apply every 3 months religiously.
I really could not keep up without the help of this product.

Nothing Else Compares!

Awesome Product!

EASY TO USE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like is that it is easy to use. I still love to garden at my age of 65 but suffer from back arthritis. It is easy to walk the landscape and sprinkle over the beds, even over mulch. It works pretty good in keeping new weeds from coming up and doesn't disturb my other plantings.

It really WORKS!

Lifesaver!!!

Always a must for fall cleanup
Each fall after first frost and plants are cleared away, I spread Preen in the flowerbeds to prevent weeds from germinating on warmer fall days and I apply again in the spring.

Great job (back,hands,knees) saver!
I've used this product for about 8 years now. Every spring I apply and it lasts through the growing season. You still have to pull and occasional weed here and there but well worth the investment! I like the big 16# tub, it has a nice scoop style applicator. I've had a tubs that I have stored and used over a 3 year period with the same positive preventative protection! Go Preen!

Preen Garden Weed Preventer Bottle
I purchased Preen Garden Weed Preventer for the first time in early summer. I started new flowerbeds and wanted to conquer new weed growth as soon as possible. I did not wish to spend my whole summer pulling weeds!! Very happy to day that Preen was very easy to use and I haven't seen any weeds!! It's incredible! Wish I had known about this product years ago. It would have saved me from pulling all those weeds!! I love this product and would recommend it to everyone I know!! GREAT WEED CONTROLLER
I HAVE BEEN USING PREEN FOR YEARS. I HAVE LESS & LESS WEEDS TO PULL IN THE SPRING. MADE IT REAL EASY OVER THE YEARS. I DO MY BEDS IN THE EARLY SPRING AND PUT PREEN ON AFTER I CLEAN THE LEAVES AND LITTLE BIT OF WEEDS OUT OF THE GARDENS. IT REALLY WORKS. THANKS!

I love preen
I really do love preen. Usually I weed in the spring, put down preen and have to do very little the rest of the season. This year it's been unusually wet and the maple trees are sprouting up everywhere. So hasn't been quite as effective this year. But I still love it!

Awesome product

Wow what happened to the Preen I used to know!!!
I cleaned my Beds up in Feb. liberally applied Preen and what happened?? I have weeds galore!! That was a waste of time and money. I have used Preen for 10 years and I have always had great results...I have recommended it to other people ( I work in a plant nursery) as well. What ever happened to the Preen that was effective?

I am very sorry to hear about your disappointment with this product this year. The active ingredient in this product has remained unchanged for over 50 years. There could be various reasons why you are still seeing weeds such as weeds that are not label listed that Preen controls due to invasive roots or runners, thistle, grass, etc. Another reason could be that weed seeds already had germinated at the time of application and were not visible for you to remove. Also, this product does not kill any existing weeds but rather creates an invisible barrier that prevents the weed seeds from germinating up to 12 weeks (with heavy rain, you may reapply sooner). Highly Highly Satisfied, Long Time User!!!
This pass June 2014 I removed borders 300ft. of overgrown spreadable monkey grass "Liriope" and replaced it with non spreadable Variegated monkey grass and cover around the new plants and pine isles with pine straw and a dusting of Preen, So far as of October it has prevented the growth of weeds from germinating. I have use Preen products with very good success over the years from my gardens to pine islands.
