Will see how long it lasts but so far so good for application and color. I had Osmo decking oil on my deck prior and the Preserva Wood still absorbed. The semi transparent of Preserva Wood did not have enough pigment to match the Osmo I had so there are some color differences (Osmo has much more pigment. I couldn't find any local dealers of Osmo which is why I tried Preserva Wood). If I find a local dealer I will go back to the Osmo for sake of uniform color. I have a country looking cedar deck so the difference in color with the 2 stains is ok. Not my prefered look but it's ok.

Product seems to be of high quality, but only time will tell. It required a LOT of stirring, because there is something sticky and hard on the bottom that I wanted to make sure was incorporated into the liquid.Color is darker than I anticipated, but perhaps that was my mistake.

Nice color. Like all stain, very runny/thin. Took some time to dry on the pressure treated pieces. The coverage was as described. Hope it lasts for years.

I used it on pine boards. Bad to mediocre penetration. If I want good color penetration I need to pay a little more and use a better quality product.

Pine boards can have a lot of pitch and it's possible that the stain will not penetrate well. If the stain does not penetrate, then you will not be able to develop color and the stain will not work properly. You can either season the wood, by exposing it to the environment until it is more porous, or you can try a light sanding and clean the wood to open the pores.

This isn't a semi transparent stain! It is more like paint. A pure waste of money. I opened it, stiirred it up, did a test for color, let it dry over night, the results are horrible. And now that I opened it, I can't return it.
Shame on you Home Depot!!
