Going to open it and test it before gifting it NO NEED TO WRAP IT NOW! THANKS A LOT HOME DEPOT! For this my Overall Rating is 1 star! Would recommend you to buy it elsewhere!

This grill works great. It's big enough so I don't have to wait to cook my pancakes after everyone has already finished breakfast. I like the folding legs so it fits in my cabinet. This is an excellent griddle, which I highly recommend. I would make 3 design changes.
1. The slide out tray slides out too easily. It have already fallen on the floor 3 times and broken. I have glued the plastic pieces back together. It needs a better slat that holds it like a desk drawer.
2. The temperature numbers should be reversed. If you look at the numbers from the front (as shown in the picture) they are upside down. They are in the right direction if you look from the back.
3. I would have a latch to keep the legs in place (up or down) with storage for the power cord.

This is a great griddle. We've tried griddles that bridge the burners on our stove. They work ok. My wife uses this on the weekends to make breakfast and it is very handy. The legs fold in for easy storage and the griddle heats fairly evenly.

Cord Length
The cord is too short.
It's easy to burn your hands when handling it to move it because of the short cord.
Also, the grease catcher tray is too small and grease spills from it.
