Very happy with our purchase of Val pack air brush sprayer. We opted to buy all the available accessories so that we would be able to have all the bells and whistles that are available from the get go. All of the products are easy to assemble as well as take aprtnfor cleaning. This is a very professional set but at a very affordable price. Very impressed with the quality.

We have an electric spray gun, which is really great for big projects. But this little kit is awesome for those little projects or touch up jobs. It comes with several sizes of jars and with 3 aerosol canisters and a handle. So no electric needed and several different sizes of bottles to choose from depending on the size of your project or touch up. We like it!

If you plan on using different types of finishes such as oil base paints and vanish as well as latex paints, I suggest that you purchase the Preval Custom Spray Kit. It contains plastic bottles in 3 & 6 oz. sizes and glass bottles in 6 oz. size. It comes with extra dip tubes replacement power units and a universal vgrip. I used the Preval spray system for some small touch up painting jobs at home. . I sprayed painted a small section of repaired crown molding. The resulting finish was very smooth. When using semi- gloss latex paint you need to dilute the paint to a 3 to 2 ratio. The one good thing when using latex paint is that the cleanup is very easy. The one thing I did not like is having to strain the paint with a strainer before painting. When using vanishes, lacquer and/or oil based paint you need only thin to a 4 to 1 ratio before using.

I think all of the positive reviews come from the manufacturer. Would have been a good product if it worked. Over spray, runs,splatters can be expected. Defiantly not worth the money. I would not recommend this product. My Home Depot sells many great and innovative products, this is not one of them. Sorry!

I needed some extra jars for my Preval sprayer because I like to use a lot of different colors when painting my wood projects. Sometimes to achieve the look I want, it helps having these extra accessories ready to go when I am ready to paint multiple items and/or paint using multiple colors. This allows me to quickly and easily utilize my paint mixtures to their full extend, and creates an overall better value using this paint system.

This is just perfect for small quick job. It is easy to work with and it is very simple to use. with simple snap, you can change color of the paint and with the grip, you can easily apply the paint. You do not need complicated machine to do a small job and lots of cleaning afterwards. It cannot be better than this.

Like the option for the smaller tanks, less waste and easy cleanup.

The concept in very awesome, turn any paint into a spray paint. I used this product several times successfully only after watching an online video as the units instructions are not very clear. Getting the correct paint to solvent ratio is critical otherwise the unit will have problems also, you must spray at the specified angles provided in the company video. I did have problems with the unit leaking paint from the aerosol bottom until I mixed the correct ratio of paint vs. solvent.

I have been using Pre-Val Sprayers for many years for automotive touch up. Largest project was the complete painting of the underside of a classic car with a type of rustproofing paint that would have ruined a paint spray gun. With this kit it is now easy to store leftover touch up paint for future use. Recommended!

Plenty of extra storage containers and sprayer parts and extra pressure units

Waaaay better than I expected! This kit comes with so much more product than I ever thought it did. I am super impressed with how long each power unit lasts. Easy to use, and store paints, stains, shellacs, laquers, etc

This sprayer is great for small projects that require different colors, It came with numerous empty bottles that I can retain paint to make repeat copies of projects. I like this as you can make your own exact color of paint and have a great way to administer it to the project. It is the winter season here in Pa. but I have many projects on my honey do list that this sprayer will come in very handy in the springtime.. I am sure this sprayer will accomplish all my needs.

Talked With the owner of the company about spraying Metal Flake Gel coat and he said it was possible. I should have told him I was spraying .015 metal flake, because this didn't come close. It would spray small amounts of gel coat thinned, but not very well and none with flake. I went out and just bought a spray gun and compressor to do the job. I really wouldn't recommend this for thick spraying. It was ok for a very small spot.

No matter what I tried, I could not get this to work. I was very excited to try this setup because it would have allowed me to spray paint in colors that I could not buy in rattle cans. Unfortunately, I just could not get it to work. I was trying to spray Behr Latex paint, thinned per the recommendations in the users manual. The sprayer did pull up the paint initially, sprayed for a second or two, and then it quit. I tried the clog clearly procedure mentioned in the manual, no luck. I tried wrapping the power unit in warm rags, no luck. Nothing worked. What a massive dissappointment. I ended up buying a cheap (<$15) HVLP gun from the cheapo chinese import shop and it worked great. That is more of a hassle because you have to pull out the air compressor (if you have one), but it worked! If you want to spray latex, skip this setup and go for an HVLP setup instead.

This kit is great for small jobs. Things like painting a shelf, or staining furniture. I would not recommend it for painting a room. You can pick the jar size based on the size of the job. You wast less paint that way. I would use this kit to replace spray cans. You get more control, and almost the same convenience as using a spray can. The big differences are that you have to clean it up after you are done, but you can also control the viscosity or the paint/stain. So you can do a better job then you can with a spray can.

The Preval Sprayer kit is alot of fun and saves time, money and storage space. Rather than buying several spray cans and having them all over, any paint can be used in the sprayer. You can even make your own colors. The instructions are clear and tell you how much water or solvent to add to each type of paint, such as water for latex or mineral spirits for enamel. The bottles are also marked with measuring lines. The kit comes with one complete unit so you can see how it is put together, several extra straws, lids, dip tubes and bottles to store paint, extra glass spray bottles and extra propellant. You can finish a project quickly with an even coat and no brush marks. It is an excellent system and I am very happy with it.

I wish I had discovered this spray kit before now! It would have saved me so much time and money on projects over the years. But I am glad I have it now! I can use it on so many different projects. Craft projects, touch up paint projects on my bike, bbq, even those old nicks on the side of the refrigerator! It's super easy to use. Easy instructions. Easy clean up. And all the components are 100% recyclable once they are cleaned and free from paint, stains etc. It can even be used for spray on tanning! Cake decorating and so many creative uses. Truly an inspired product and design! Let your creativity flow!

The PreVal Value Pak was exactly as the manufacturer described. It was extremely easy to assemble, lightweight and able to spray solvents, paints, fertilizers and cleaners. It is also very easy to clean in between projects. I have found so many uses for it. There are glass jars as well as plastic enclosed. All come with there own lids and the sprayers fit them all. I just could not be happier with this product and I recommend it to anyone with multiple projects or even just one project that you want well done.

Our vote is still in the wind here, but with straight stains or oil based paints and finish's I had good coverage. The one water based latex paint I tried, we had bad luck getting it to spray and overall we had to work to get it to start drawing up[ the liquid to spray. Once started it did work well and is great for those small spot finishing. The kit it's self had a number of sized bottles to both mix/spray and store the paints or stains to be reused again at a later date. There are also a number of extra spray caps and draw tubes. My only words of wisdom is to ensure is that you mix at the required ratio and the draw tube is tightly fitted.

This is a great product for matching paints. For instance I sprayed my wicker chairs on my from porch the same color as my front door. I used the paint I purchased at Home Depot which was specifically mixed for me. After painting the door I added some of the paint to the jar, added a little bit of water and sprayed. Couldn't have been easier.

This product comes with tons of parts and pieces. It is great for arts and crafts projects or touch up jobs. I definitely advise you to test it and see how it works before you spray your actual piece that way you can get the spraying motion down. There is some overspray so you have to distance yourself far enough away from the piece to keep it from getting it on your project. I like that you have enough pieces to use more than one color on a project. I used this product to spray wooden letters and some other decorative wooden pieces.

I tried using this to stain some window trim, but I made a mess of it. The overspray was horrible and it didn't quite work the way I thought it would. I used lacquer thinner to thin it, and it just didnt seem to work right. I didn't try for very long and it may have gotten easier if I would have tried longer. The system is nice, don't get me wrong, but for staining, I will stick to the old way. The cans of propellent get VERY cold so the handle was nice, and the jars seal tight. I would recommend this for using OUTSIDE, and for someone with patience to learn it.

Quite a lot of stuff in here. First, there is a vGrip included which is a plastic trigger handle you can attach to top of power unit or other other spray cans. I tried on 3 different sized cans (1 spray paint and 2 weather proofers) and they do fit. I had problem with putting this on a can of leather protector because the tip of that can was thin and any amount of pressure released the spray (thus getting the contents all over my hands.) I didn't have that problem with the cans having widerer spray tips and finger indentations. I mostly had trouble removing the vGrip from the cans. Had to get just the right angle and use quite a bit of force. I was afraid I'd break the vGrip and I think that will eventually happen. It did work and will keep paint off your fingers. No adjustments for angle, width or distance. Kit also includes assortment of glass amd plastic jars with lids and dip tubes and total of 3 power units. All the jars and the vGrip can be used with the power units. You don't have to own the portable airbrush sytem to be able to use this kit. You do need to thin the paint, (instructions on one of the boxes) and straining the paint is recommended. Enough lids included for all jars to easily store leftovers. I was able to just fit all included jars, (13 total) and all lids and dip tubes in a 6 quart plastic storage container. Just plain spray paint is easier, but if you're doing touch ups and need to use specific shades, this will come in handy.

This product comes in very handy when doing small projects or doing touch-ups. This comes with a large variety of different size bottles to use which alleviates wasting paint and easy clean up.

I have seen these sprayers in catalogs and woodworking shops and always wanted to try them. The system seems so convenient and easy to use, but it's not when you end up cleaning up all the overspray and sanding the excess finish down. Honestly, a can of spray paint off the shelf is WAY easier to use. The first aerosol can broke when I attached it to the jar rendering it useless and ruined. The second I used to apply sanding sealer to a guitar body. I ended up drowning it with product because the the sprayer sputtered an inconsistent huge cone.

This sprayer set its a great value, especially for DIY-er like myself. It's perfect for small projects especially when in need of using multiple colors, it makes the job so much easier. I could easily switch from one color to another, primer, etc, things that could not do so easy with my old sprayer. It's fairly easy to clean, and the major advantage is that you can store the paint in the container itself and use later. The finish it's superior to air sprayer. I'm very pleased with this product and recommend to anyone.

This kit is great! I do leather working, and I use it to dye larger pieces of leather, and it yields great results. It gives even coverage that I could never get using a dauber. This has opened up a lot of ways for me to take my work. It's invaluable in my workshop, and I've recommended it to other leather workers. The kit comes with a complete unit, 2 extra spray atomizer power units, dip tubes, sprayers, plastic jars, glass jars, and caps for easy switch out of colors and for storing paints or dyes. I've only owned this a short while, but the applications that this could be used in seem unlimited. The first thing I thought was that it would be fabulous if you were a graffiti artist, and you wouldn't be limited to the colors that you can get off the shelf. I know a person that does auto body work, and he uses it for touch ups in his shop, and he loves it because of the quick clean up it's easy to use. The clean up is easy, you just put solvent or water, (depending on what you're using) in the jar after you're done, and spray it through, and it's ready for the next job. The extra storage containers and caps are nice to have if there's something you use often, it's ready to go. Great product made in the U.S.A!!

I'm an artist, DIY & crafts person who also repairs & restores things. I go from one paint & color to the next. Many times I would have preferred to spray paint an object rather than use a brush. Sometimes, I just have to do a tiny touch up. This Value-Pack kit is a generous wish come true with a useful variety of jars & sprayers that attach to each other.

I wanted to paint a lamp base to match my room so I used some of my wall paint. It worked, but was very messy. I found the instructions not very clear, but once I figured it out it worked ok... but I expected more.

The price of this unit, you sure get a lot for your money. Nice to have all the bottles, glass and plastic, and different size plastic ones. I like all the extra tubes and caps. Assembly is very easy. Be sure to follow the dilution instructions. Very easy to use, just have to get the distance between the object and the sprayer correct. Cleanup is easier than cleaning a brush and less time. Only wish it had a case or something to keep it all together, but that's just me.
