Mismatching finish and missing screws
Just purchased and realized that the finish on the nightlatch is matte but the finish is on the key lock is a shiny brass. Why wouldn't you just make them match? Seems like laziness in manufacturing the product, corner cutting.
It was also missing the two screws to attach it to the doorframe. Would not recommend. Would not buy again

This is nearly identical to the lock I have from 50 years ago but the holes are just slightly off. It looks right but you have to fill holes and re-drill to mount it.
I repaired my old lock instead of using this one.

It is nice that this stuff doesn't change that much. We were able to use the same tumbler system and just had to replace the lock body itself. Made the job easy and cleaner.
