I would not buy these again. The philips head makes them strip out easy, even when using the included bit. Might be easier with a screw guide, but I would look for a torx screw next time.

Screws did not work. Could not fully sink into durarock. Had to go to different box store and buy other screws that would fully sink. Now I have a box of unusable screws that’s I can’t take back.

I've used a lot of cement board screws and these rank with the best. The problem with most screws is that they don't seat easily so the head is sticking up slightly. The design of these is such that they easily seat flush. My favorite cement screws are made by Hardie (ITW) and have a square drive head. The the Hardie screws are not always easy to find however and are more expensive. These have a Phillips head and are carried by H. Depot and based on my experience are a good alternative.
