Durable!
This is very durable edging, and not too difficult to install. Aluminum doesn't rust, so it should last longer than steel.

Easy to use. Fit was tight when connecting edges but got easier after I completed a few times. Result looked nice. Would have preferred having the option of pieces longer than 6’ but overall I was satisfied.

These edging pieces slide together making one continuous border. It looks very nice and was "easy" to work with (digging the border, placing the edging, hammering the nails in - wasn't a super easy project, but the edging itself was easy to work with). Good value and hope it lasts a long time!

These were very disappointing. The stakes don't hold the side up at all and there is no way to connect each piece of edging together. Looks terrible and won't stay up straight. Not worth the money.

The interlocking feature is what makes this product so effective. It also bends to a radius of 24" or so, and can be bent at 90 degrees without failing. The spikes are long enough to anchor it securely. It's a huge improvement over plastic, which does not hold its shape over time.

Good Product with a MAJOR Flaw
I want to say that I really liked this product initially. I live in Florida and I was looking for an edging that provided more stability than the plastic edging and wouldn't rust. While this product isn't the easiest to work with, it did create very straight, clean lines. The problem is the spikes that hold the rails in the ground rusted LESS THAN ONE WEEK after installation. Imagine orange dots in the center of a silver rail. As a result, I returned all the unopened boxes to Home Depot.

Hello Toolman520, thank you for your feedback. If the edging spikes were visible above ground, it sounds like the edging was not installed deep enough. Spikes should not be visible when the aluminum edging is installed. This aluminum edging should be buried in a 2.5-3 inch trench, deep enough so that there is 1-1.5 inch of edging showing above ground. The anchoring spikes are designed to corrode slightly so they grip to the soil to improve stability. This is to provide proper structure and support to the edging over time.
