After searching for a island light for my kitchen for months I’m happy I selected the Briarwood five light linear chandelier. Easy to install, easy to adjust and sits flush with the ceiling. The ceiling plate covered the standard size electrical box. I would highly recommend this light fixture.
Very excited that even with a slanted ceiling and singular light to be replaced that I was able to hang this 5 wide light ......straight! The chains were difficult to attach- damage was caused opening and closing them. I was not strong enough to do it myself. I wish the brown layer was real wood and not painted metal but I guess that keeps the price down? I like that it came with multiple poles so I could determine the perfect length for me. But WOW this light MAKES my dining room elevated. I actually want to spend time in the room now. If I had to choose a light again I would pick this one all over again.
We purchased several pieces of the Briarwood collection to update the lighting in our home. They fit what we were looking for and we are loving the style. We installed the pendant where a recessed light was in our kitchen and had to make minor adjustments. One as the recessed light was off-center, we mounted it to a large board that we stained and I love it. Two was the voltage power for the recessed light was not enough. After some research, my husband was able to replace the other two lights on the circuit and we were good to go.
