This is a very attractive lamp post with the matte black finish. It’s sturdy and fit the new post light we purchased perfectly. I’m a handy person with only basic electrical knowledge. I didn’t know if I would have trouble with this, but I followed the diagram carefully and everything worked correctly the first time.

Too much assembly required. The electric eye and the outlet should be mounted and wired to the pole. It would be better if it was ready to connect to the power and the light on top. With all the work that has to be done it should be half the cost. The quality of the product is good.

Sturdy, well made item. my electrician did installation. Pole is a bit long but electrician made it work, positioning it inside a shrub that we didn’t want removed & I didn’t want end sawed off due to rusting , etc.. Best to have an electrician install.

Very disappointed that the electrical outlet mounting screw holes were not in the right place and I had to drill them in there proper locations. Not a big deal but for that price everything should be right.
