This is the first time listening to previous buyers has steered me wrong. The fixture itself looks great. The glass light cover is what I have problems with. It is a CHEAP looking thin shiny white glass. Really looks bad. Not "Victorian" at all. But I liked the fixture so I scrounged up some old ceiling fan glass light covers. Made it look great. Only problem is one of the light bulb receptacles was defective and would not take the retaining ring without serious force. No, I did not cross thread it. And then it was near impossible to unscrew the retaining ring. So I gave up. Light will be returned and I'll get a different type. Here is a photo of the original glass cover (middle) and the ceiling fan glass cover (left). This way you will have a better idea of what the white glass cover actually looks like. Just seemed poor overall quality. Frustrating experience.
