I thought these plastic ones would be cheap, but they hold onto the tines much better than the wooden style. After a dozen uses, not a single spike has fallen out.

Absolutely worthless purchase. I tried using it to clean my paint brush immediately after painting, it does not remove the paint. Buy a metal brush instead.

I bought this on a whim, but it's a great tool that makes washing out my brushes faster and easier than ever before. This is going to extend the life of my brushes far past what I had expected to keep them for.

This would work much better if the teeth were closer together; then it would comb out more of the wet paint and would separate the individual fibers better. These wide-spaced teeth leave thick clumps of fibers stuck together.

Worked well for the project

Stabbed myself and bled in the first minute I used it to clean a brush. Very sharp! Make sure your fingers are not on the other side of the brush. I would prefer dull points for safety, but it does clean well.

I had never used a brush comb before but saw an episode of Ask This Old House where they showed the proper way to clean a brush. I will always use one from now on.

Picked this up on a whim. Where has this been all my life? Cleaning brushes is SO much easier andd faster! The teeth don't damage the brush hairs and allow you to get that deep stuck paint. If I ever loose this I'll be buying another without a second thought.

This is the second one of these I bought. These work great at getting paint out of the center of the brush without getting the bristles out of kilter. And I use less water getting it clean.

Separates even gummied bristles, speeds cleaning paintbrushes. Saves a lot of time, water, and probably extends the useful life of the brushes. If the whole thing were metal, instead of just the tines, it would be 5 stars. It works very well anyway. Very pleased with this product.

Bought a new paintbrush and picked up the paint brush comb. Worked great breaking up the paint globs that form near the handle.
