It did not hold the umbrella vertical at 90 degrees..so...
It did not hold the umbrella vertical at 90 degrees..so when you place it against a wall to protect windows, the top Of the umbrella is 5-7 inches away from the wall..we tried to use these to give windows sunshade and rain protection...didn’t work as well as hoped for

Gusty wins will overcome this stand, even with the umbrella closed. Easy to assemble, but the bottom bolt needs significant torque to keep the holding tube from spinning. It's hard to tell how hard it can be torqued though since it's plastic.
