Easy to lay out and helps greatly with sounds passing through the subfloor. Love the self stick seams, hardly used any seam guard tape.

This underlayment totally fulfilled my expectations. It stayed put once laid and did not move around or pop up, which I have experienced with other foam type underlay. As a pure amateur at floor laying, I had a really great experience with this product. Looking forward to seeing if it makes a difference in our basement in the winter.

Great for LVP with attached underlayment

This QuieWalk underlayment is great! I have used this in my upstairs bedrooms, which are small and so by purchasing the large roll, I only had to lay 2 pieces of this down with a little trimming. It doesn't get much easier than that. I am using it for laminate flooring. Just follow the directions on the roll. It's nice quality and I can say is much more sound dampening than the wall to wall carpet that was installed when this house was built. It is very easy to work with and lay down. I love the peel and stick closure and all the other good stuff; made in USA, eco friendly, no voc's, etc and that made it an attractive choice for me plus I had used QuietWalk brand in my master bedroom and absolutely loved it. So I am a repeat buyer. Highly Recommend!

Absolutely love it. Even though the flooring didn't require it, it makes a tremendous difference. I've completed 4 rooms with it. 1 room without it, and the difference is significant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just the type I was looking for, felt not foam! Quiet...Cut easily with scissors. Only draw back was the width of the roll. 6 feet wide. Harder to maneuver into location and cut to size butjob done. Much easier to work with.

Was going to replace my carpet with luxury vinyl plank in living room/ dining room and small hallway. Since my home is on a slab I wanted padding and vapor barrier. Read reviews on Quiet Walk , it was my choice. Along with the plank I chose having padding and Quiet Walk. I'm walking on a cloud, great.

We are in the process of installing a new wood look vinyl plank flooring for our kitchen, replacing our old one foot Square vinyl square tiles, (they lasted twenty years!) I recently used this acoustical underlayment under my plank flooring. It works great, easy to cut to size with scissors or razor knife. It had felt on the underside, to give a softer step and eliminate sound. The upper layer is black plastic, which acts as a moisture barrier. This roll cover one hundred square feet, enough for a ten foot by ten foot room. It is complete with a sealing glue edge to connect the edges together. It meets the highest standard for underlayment.

This is a preliminary review of this Quietwalk underlayment. Installation was very simple and easy. I overlapped the edge with the incorporated edge material. I taped the overlap with a thin clear vinyl adhesive tape. I cut the border edges about 1/4" from walls. This material incorporates an anti-microbial fiber that is sound dampening and a vapor barrier. I installed it over concrete with a 3/4" sub-floor, and a hard wood finish floor. I'll try to remember to do a follow-up review after it's been in a year.

This is a very nice underlayment. I am using it for laminate flooring and it is working out great. I love that it has a very easy peel adhesive strip so you can stick the extra strip of plastic from the next piece on it after you have butted them together. That is a big help. The directions are easy to follow and the underlayment cuts beautifully and is easy to work with. It is of nice quality; the vinyl side has a nice leather look to it and after moving it around quite a bit and cutting, etc. I can say that it is definitely durable. It is easy to work with and is a good value.

This underlayment with vapor barrier for luxury vinyl flooring Is going to be perfect to use under my flooring when I get it Put down. My bedroom is under my kitchen and when someone walks on the Kitchen floor you can hear them and just maybe this will help with that as well. This is a must have before laying vinyl flooring. I do recommend trying.

Good underlayment for sound and moisture control. It is also treated with an antimicrobial. The underlayment is thin but dense and made of recycled materials. It rolls out smoothly on the floor not retaining the rolled up shape. It has an adhesive strip built in to allow for adjoining pieces to be secured. Used on concrete floor with floating laminate and the sound insulation is very good. It can be used as an underlayment for many different types of flooring and substrates. Shipped for free. Good price point on a 100 SF roll.

Much better than the stock stuff in the big box stores. Much better sound deafening technology. Plus if used over concrete moisture is not trapped between the vapor barrier and concrete because the materials used allow for evaporation of the moisture.

The built-in tape feature is a joke. It doesn't reach without manual pain. Buy some tape.

Ready and easy to place. Very nice under luxury vinyl plank from Home Depot. I chose it because it was designed to support the same brand floor heating film pads. Ironically using this great product apparently voids the Home Depot Lifeproof warranty. I am trusting that product not to need replacement. This brand has AMAZING PERSONAL PHONE SUPPORT which I consulted before during and after installation. Last the Home Depot installation service refused to use this product insisting on a simpler and far inferior product.

I used this product for 2 rooms and so far it appears to have done the job perfectly. The vinyl plank (6"x36") is sturdy. I chose this product for a) the price and b) the recycled material aspect. I thought that was neat.

Review for Quietwalk for Vinyl flooring (black rolls) 1.4mm 36”x33.33’ (100 square feet). The rolls are supposed to be 36” wide and they are short by 1/4” to 1 1/4”, so where one ends and next one starts they don’t align. Very disappointed with product. We are not getting our 100 square feet per roll. Will be returning and buying something else.

Easy to use with adhesive tape already affixed. Straight edges for positive placement. So far no moisture issues. Seems quieter? Perhaps roll with bottom facing outward to allow easier installation.

I never got my product and when I reached out to Home Depot, they said they had no response from the vendor lost alot af money on a project

This is a fantastic product! I bought this as a vapor barrier for laying LVP on my concrete floor but I liked it so much that I used it as an underlayment for my LVP on wood subfloor. It was easy to measure, cut and install. The seams fit together perfectly and the adhesive strip to connect pieces together is genius. My new floors feel and sound great. I highly recommend this product.

QuietWalk is a good underlayment product for floating laminate flooring installation. The width of the product, and the sticky tab/flap makes it a bit easier to install, although you will still need some sort of tape to keep down long sections. This is a really good product for the price, compared to other products that are as twice as much for what we paid for this one. Really recommended.
