The R-Tech insulation is easy to score with a long knife. I started with a box cutter but it didn't cut it deep enough so there was more foam beads everywhere. I used it on my crawl space walls. I am hoping to keep my crawl space warmer this winter to prevent freezing pipes.

This product is amazing…
We cut to fit inside window of Park Model home and it decreased the temperature by 30-40 degrees.. the Airconditiner isn’t work as hard and I’ve been able to increase thermostat by 12 degrees..

Many of the panels are defective in the store. The foil is not adhering. This is a defect and they should not be in the store. Had to sort to find some good ones. Did not have enough for my needs. Went to another HD and found the same defects.

This stuff is easy to work with. It fits tight spots without breaking if you have to squeeze it in.

Less R value but better warmth.
Used to replace fiberglass that was poorly installed in basement rim joists and it prevented air infiltration. Also was easy to paint. Provided R5.4 which was less than R12 if fiberglass but with less air leaks gives better heating.
