Though it is a different design compared to the original, it works perfectly. Original design, as shown in photo, is open on both ends and utilizes a separate plate to seal the bottom of the filter. The new design has the plate built in and works fine.

Although it isn't made for our Craftsman 16 gal wet dry vac, the base stretches enough to put it on. Works fine. No filter plate needed.

This RIDGID wet/dry vac filter is very easy to exchange so it’s a breez to remove and clean between usage. This is the 3rd filter that I’ve replaced in 3 years. I clean the filter after every use and for at least a year of moderate service, the performance of my vac and this filter has exceeded my expectations.

Yes, this filter worked perfectly. No fine debris exiting the vacuum. By fire debris, I'm talking thin set that we busted up and sheet rock dust from our remodel. The first filter worked poorly, where this captured everything that was missed making for a nice clean work space to complete painting and putting down new wood plank ceramic tile.

Ultimately no, I would recommend this one for what I was doing. We decided to scrap down all the popcorn off the ceiling, which generated a ton of dust and debris. Vacuuming all the debris up with our Rigid vacuum was easy, however dust was still leaving the exhaust port. Opt for the more expensive filter if you want to trap all the dust, so your not dusting for a next year.

My first time to purchase with Filter made with HEPA-rated material for my wet & dry shop vacuum that is craftsman. { My very old wet & dry shop vacuum. } It fit in fine in first time. I like that no odor from wet & dry shop vacuum. Cud smell nice in the air after using it. Really pleased with it but pricey.

Bought is is control vacuuming dust while sanding spackle. Worked great, installed quickly and easily. Will be easy to clean with my air hose as well.

I bought a new RIDGID wet/dry vac in 2011 and just recently changed the filter and bag. I decided on buying the more expensive Allegen pleasted paper filter because I am going to sand drywall and I needed the extra filtration. This filter does a fantastic job. With the basic paper filter like the one that came with the vacuum, dust would come out of the exhaust port. But now, no dust at all. And the new paper bag filter works great also. It is definitely work the money. Recently I bought a new WEN 6301 Electric Detailing Palm Sander. This replaced my old Black & Decker Mouse sander. The WEN has a vacuum port and I didn't particularly care for this when I bought it, but it ended up being a great addition because I am able to attach the RIDGID flex hose onto the WEN sander port. It's not a perfect fit, but that doesn't matter. Yesterday, I sanded for two hours and easily 99% of the dust from sanding the drywall was picked up by the vacuum hose. I attached a picture. If you look at the floor, there is hardly any drywall dust. Normally, I would have to vacuum the edges, but in this case, there wasn't any to vacuum.

These filters fit perfectly, are easy to install and do what they are supposed to. Cleaned behind and under a refrigerator and a stacked washer dryer area that had not been done in many years.

Item is an air filter for Techumseh engine on a Toro lawnmower. 1. it was the right one 2. You had it in stock 3. The store was close by 4. It was a whole lot better than the one I took off (pictures below) Mower run perfectly after installing; life is great!

We have to clean up everyday. The single layer filter works fine for us. Although we do have to replace frequently.

Very sturdy and holds up to water and harder materials like glass and metal shavings.

My air filter on my shop Vac got clogged so I went to Home Depot where the service was great and they help me find a replacement air filter when I got home it was easy to install and it works great I would recommend Home Depot to everyone Thanks Larry Moreno

This was a replacement filter. Easy to install and provides great dust and debris filtering for my RIdgid shop vac. This filter is designed to last for years of use and is easy to clean. My first filter of this type lasted over 12 years for medium/heavy workshop and outdoor use.

This filter has huge area of filter material to contain the worst materials such as mold and mystery dust. No worries of escaping particles with this in place.

Yes it did, I'll need bags now and one of the commentator brush wires broke but I can fix that!!!

Although it’s not clear whether this filter is needed for wet applications, I feel better to know the motor is protected from water that I vacuum up. I recommend this filter.

This filter is Amazing. I used it to pick up sanding dust and none of the dust was released from the vac.
