I bought the saw 5 years ago and have cut thousands of boards, from oak pallets to pecan branches for hat racks to cedar fence pickets and it has been a champ.
3 tips,
1. keep gear box oiled
2. use a 10 gauge extension chord, it is 15 amps
3. keep miter adjusting screws tightened
The saw has stayed true, the laser once adjusted is a time saver, the dual bevel is a gem for trim and the base has been solid through years of construction. Take care of your tools and your tools will take care of you.
