This is the best kit I ever purchased

Saw works great. Used it when I did my vinyl floor.

It is heavier than I expected for a cordless tool but I can see where the weight will assist when cutting

The sander is great but the battery is awful! It only lasts 10 minutes at most

I have purchased several Ridgid tools and have always been very happy with them, until now. I bought this because my 45 year old Craftsman gave out on me, and I needed to sand several boards on my deck. No matter how I try to adjust the tracking, it will not stay on track. It runs in and out and will not stay centered. It seems as if there is not enough tension to hold the belt in place. I have torn up two belts because it ran in too far and tore them.

I find it very useful and easy to handle. It is an excellent work tool.

I'm sure it had to have been coincidence, but the jigsaw came up for promotion one week after I posted a comment to Ridgid requesting it. I'm so glad that it did. I've needed a jigsaw for some time and was holding out in hopes that Ridgid would promo one. I'm very pleased with it. I love the easy blade change function as well as the option to have the exhaust utilized to blow sawdust away from the cutting path. The oscillating function is quite handy as well. I'm tired of having 5 different brands chargers and batteries to keep track of. So have chosen to switch over to all Ridgid as the opportunity presents itself. Mostly because they back their tools the best. Next I will need to replace my cordless angle grinder, hint hint.

I commented on this in another survey. I was pleased with the quality and all of the features with the exception of one. That exception caused me to return the saw. That feature was the extreme difficulty in moving the blade insertion lever. HD employee said it was normal but with use/age it may get worse and there was no stock in the store to compare.

Works great. Flawless first couple performances.

Smooth cutting, easy function, plenty of power with the 4 Ah battery pack.

Gets the job done. Aggressive battery usage (I recommend having 2) and the vacuum/blow feature to clear sawdust isn't actually that effective.

this is the first jig saw I've ever owned that you can follow and cut a straight line. Variable speed should be on more tools as most cutting /grinding tools run too fast for blade life. The oscillating feature is nice as well in some situations. This saw stays tight on its angle adjustment, another thing I've had trouble with on previous saws. The air puffer to keep dust away at the cut is very helpful. All in all, great saw.

A little disappointed in the power/speed. Otherwise, does the job.

Haven't used it yet but looks like a quality item.
