Customer Reviews for RIDGID 18-Volt Cordless Brushless 1 Gal. Portable Air Compressor (Tool Only)

Nice little compressor, very portable, excellent for small projects, and power stapler,Brad nailer or finish nailer, cordless is best if customers don't have exterior outlets

Great product

Good compressor but was led to believe that all ridgid tools had a life time warranty wich is not the case was told all batteries had a lifetime warranty wich is not so i would not have paid the prices for the products had i known the will only last three years that's all the confidence the company has on them or they would have had better warranty

Surprisingly capable little machine! Where has this been all my life?!

Compact, light weight, runs my nail guns very easily. I use two 4ah batteries like it suggests and they last longer than expected. And no cord is great for quick in and out jobs or where it's too far from an outlet.

The compressor works very well and will be a great addition to my need to nemobile.. My fault, but I was expecting the lifetime warranty. The tool does not qualify.

Nothing to assemble charged battery and worked right away wish recovery time was a little faster but pretty good for rechargeable.

A great little cordless air compressor. Very easy to carry along to the jobsite.

A Great Product

Great little compact & quiet compressor! The ONLY drawback/negative is the fact that there was NO mention on the Rigid or Home Depot sites....NOR on the actual box it arrived in, of it needing to be operated with only 4-amp or 5-amp 18 volt batteries!!! I attempted to charge it with a couple of my 2-amp batteries that run all of my other 18-volt RIDGID tools, but it stopped charging the compressor at 25psi. So....I got out the owner's manual that came w/ this compressor, and found one mention of it needing the 4 or 5 amp batteries. Bought a bundle of two, 4-amp batts. from Home Depot on-line for $99 + shipping + tax. If you r-e-a-l-l-y want to spend more money, the 5-amp battery is $119 + shpg. + tax!!! FOR ONLY 1 BATTERY !!! Yee gads! - I wonder if these are gold plated? RIDGID needs to make it abundantly clear both on-line & on the carton this compressor comes in just what batteries are required!!! Otherwise - this little guy will be immensely useful when there are no 120-volt outlets available, especially on a job-site, camping, airing up tires, etc.

I bought it for misc punch work and it performed pretty well.

Works great for 18 and 16 finishing nailers the people complaining about this compressor must think it was supposed to replace a 5hp standup

Does exactly what it was advertised to do. I love it..

As a home builder, this is my go to for punch lists and small projects. It's light weight and works very well. I have cordless finish nailers that are ok, but this does a much better job and much more reliable than the cordless guns. Highly recommend for small projects.

Really handy. I don't have to dig out my corded compressor, unwind the power cord and the hose, then do it all in reverse when I'm done.

I bought this for a Christmas present for my husband. He was so surprised and absolutely loves this compressor. It's lightweight and the batteries last a long time and this little compressor has lots of power and gets the job done.

Son in law was extremely happy to be gifted with this great product!!

Great device when I need a power source beyond a hand-held battery powered gun, but less than a full sized air compressor...lightweight and easily stored in vehicle!

Excellent a very handy and useful compressor

love it.. it last a long time with freash batteries. Great price as well.

It’s an amazing tool if you know it’s limits . With 4amp batteries it will give the right amount of working time.

Operates well.

Excellent portable air! Great for trim projects..,

The Operator's Manual said the item is good for "light-to medium-duty air powered tools...operating air accessories such as air nozzles and automotive tire inflators." So, I got proper tool for my home. I do not need drive 1,200 brad nails in my house. May be one nail per year, so I use hammer for that. It is nice small, portable, but some heavy 22 Lb with two 5 Ah battery. Tire from 25 PSI to 35 PSI it is take less 2 min. I use it for many home application mostly light duty like winterizing RV with air or clean up a shaver.

Was able to fill up 11R22.5 tire on my commercial truck (110 PSI 40" tall, same as semi truck) Excellent!

This compressor goes anywhere without electrical cords. Compressor is very light weight and easy to handle.

Great portable unit. I also have a Ridgid Cordless Drill and batteries are interchangeable.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. Air compressor is convenient to use and not being tied a cord is awesome. Would highly recommend it to the average do it yourselfer.
