I have purchased several Ridgid tools , the perform very well, However the batteries do not last long with cold weather, I have purchased several batteries and found the registration prosess for the alleged "Lifetime Warrantee"is very difficult. When you buy a product with a "Lifetime Warrantee" you should be able to return it to the place of purchase when it fails...not the case with RIDGID !

Hello, Rlm1 - We are sorry to hear that you are not pleased with the run time of your battery! Run time depends on the amp-hour of the battery and the tool. Amp-hour refers to the constant amp draw a battery pack can run at for 1 hour. So, a 4.0 Ah battery can run at 4 amps for an hour in normal conditions. However, tools vary in their amp draws, and if a tool has a higher amp draw than 4 amps, it will diminish the run time. We hope this provides clarity! Why won't this mount to a wall ?
I've tried to mount this to a wall. The screws are just enough out, you mount it to a wall and you apply pressure and it falls off ? As someone has mentioned adding a brick as a power supply ?, Also another poor design. I believe that the Japanese don't use this in their homesis not their problem. Hey wake up, Home depot / Ridgid people aren't very happy.

Unfortunately could not completely charge one battery. Actually it would show fully charged but when you take it Off the charger and press the button it only shows 3 bars.

Ridgid 4ah batteries and charger
Ok guys, I'm a long time Ridgid customer, and almost all of my battery operated tools are Ridgid. This set is good, but I have issue that may not affect you. The battery charger takes alot longer to charge the batteries compared to previois chargers. This isnt a biggie for me either as I do have enough batteries. But I can see if you only had two of the 4 ah batteries and was using a high drain tool, this could be an issue. Other than that, A ok.
