This router is much smaller than I expected based on the pictures. This tool exceeds my expectations. It takes a while to learn to use (I recommend watching a video), but once you get it, it sure is awesome. I've seen others have the tool start to smoke, but in the year I've had it, this hasn't happened. The LSA can't be beat. The tool fits comfortably in your hand.

Works well and is a nice addition to the collection.

Just used it on a project and was happy with outcome, best part is no cord to get in the way! Only negative is the weight of it!

I have been a loyal customer of Ridgid tools for years. I have found them to very well made with quality components. They are very powerful tools and I’m a totally cordless user. My other brand cordless jig saw bit the dust and I sadly ;-) had to replace it. I love the power, speed options, one hand blade change options of this saw that so far cuts through anything I’ve used it it. And Ridgid’s warranty is the best. A highly recommended tool brand. 5 stars!

This is my first router. I’ve been wanting one since seeing them being used in numerous YouTube videos and thinking how many times having one could have made my projects easier. I purchased a laminate bathroom counter to replace my outdated marble one so I’ll need a router for smoothing the sink cut out hole. Glad to have this router by Rigid and it’s also my first Rigid tool. As soon as I took it out of the box I was pleasantly surprised at the compact size! Not nearly as large and heavy as I thought it would be. Has rubber around the handle for easy gripping and precise control. Also has a guard for bit changes. I also like the ability to adjust to different depths. Easy, push button release. Rocker on/off switch. Soft start. Convenient depth scale on motor housing. The quality is superb and I’ve seen routers that cost so much more. Since owning my first cordless tool, having no cord is super important to me now, although this one does not come with a battery. Looking forward to getting one though at Home Depot because as soon as we can find just the right new faucet for our counter project we’ll be ready to go. Comes with instruction book, vacuum adapter, edge guide, guide bars, thumb screws, and wrench. Lifetime warranty including free parts and service. Can’t beat that for a tool!

I'm a big fan of Ridgid tools because of their lifetime warranty as long as you register their tools within a reasonable time span and this router is no exception those small it is very powerful and will balanced it o is perfect for those jobs where a regular router isn't required since it's battery operated it can be taken anywhere off job site or on to perform small task of routing. Anyone who does woodworking would appreciate this versatile tool. This comes with a dust collector shield at mounts on with applied supplied thumb screws also comes with rods and a edge device for when you want to route straight and accurate lines. This particular tool does not come with a battery which can be purchased separately at Home Depot. I Highly recommended and I believe will not disappoint.

I wanted to try a small, cordless router for trimming the veneer on a project I am beginning. The size and ease of use of this router and no cord to get in the way, made it a good fit. My old corded router is much bigger and has no work light. The ability to adjust the depth to the smallest amount is also a great plus. Looking forward to getting my battery and getting started.

This is an awesome router especially if you’re looking for something that will last and that’s not excessively large. Well built and will not fail you, this thing has a lot of power for its size. It comes apart very easily to clean and is an all around exceptional tool.

Compact Router is an amazing tool!! It roughens the wood with a very professional finish. Since we have this tool in the projects, all the work becomes easier and more professional. I recommend it 100 percent. RIDGID is the best brand. After I am using this brand with its high power drills and batteries with long durability and resistance, everything becomes easier. Will not allow me to register for lifetime service agreement

The jig saw and router arrived on time as scheduled. Both of them looked in good condition. I have not use them yet.

The Rigid router delivered to me had no collet. It had a collet nut, but no collet. I contacted HD customer support, and they were no help. They simply listed what was supposed to be included. But I pointed out, the parts list didn’t list collet nut either…because it’s a part of the router. The typical response from HD…we can initiate a return. So, I had to go and spend an extra $10 at Ace to buy a collet for a brand new router because I don’t want to wait 2 weeks to start my project.

This tool performs like other jigsaws but comes with the Ridgid LSA for peace of mind. I’ve only used it on wood so far and of course it handles that with no issues. It doesn’t eat up a battery like a recip saw so that’s nice. I’m happy I bought this and highly recommend it.

The Rigid Jigsaw is very well constructed as all Rigid products are. I appreciate the adaptability for my vacuum system. Multiple cutting speeds. Great purchase.

Bought a couple of nicer blades with the kit it came with one to get you going anyways. It works great, easy to adjust speed and plunge depth, very maneuverable with a 4 or 6 amp pack on and cut smooth and straight.

The jig saw is great the amount of time it took to get it was ridiculous

Nice addition to my house tools. Works great and worth the price.

Bought for one job now I use it whenever I can. Fits all brands of router bits. Once you get dialed in with one of these you’ll be a cabinet maker on the side. Only complaint is the wrench that comes with to change bits out is thin and too much cranking can cause it to bend. Performs perfectly.
