Easy purchase, no warrenty
I was able to purchase the product easy enough however I was not able to register the product for the life time warrenty. I have a bad battery that needs to be replaced but I can't get in touch with Ridgid. I went to home Depot for a battery replacement, they told me I must deal with Ridgid for a replacement. It appears there is no life time warrenty.

ridgid x4 6 1/2"
The 6 1/2” (x4 saw is my model) blade on the right side is my favorite go to saw. Ive burnt it up ripping 2x limber more than a foot, so careful on bigger stuff. But still keep a new blade on it and itll be your favorite too. Oh and dont forget yo sign up for the lifetime service agreement. Im waiting to see the brushless model. Thanks Ridgid team!

Very good saw for the money
Very easy to handle when compared to the 7 inch saws. Battery life has been exceptionally good for a battery operated saw when building stud walls using 2x6's. Very pleased with this saw.

Extremely nice saw
I considered getting a skill saw worm drive, which are heavy and powerful. After finding this, I decided to try it because I've been slowly transitioning to rigid cordless tools. I've made several cuts of 12" pressure treated lumber, and I have to say this thing is WAY better than I expected. Cuts well, lightweight, battery lasts a long time. If you're right-handed, you'll probably appreciate the blade on the left side.

Cuts as fast as you can push
I used this cutting saw mill lumber. 2 inch true walnut that is wet won’t be a issue for one battery(4 amp/hr) I cut lumber for a 20x8 car hauler hope this helps

Left Handed Saw
Blade is on the left side as is the hole for the sawdust catcher. Built for a left-handed person. If you're a righty and not using the sawdust catcher, the sawdust blows all over you. I'm going to have to cap the hole with something. Have yet to use it, so can't comment on quality. I don't think I would recommend it if you're a righty. why are only the 7 1/4" models the only ones for right-handed people? May end up returning it. I operate/push with my right and guide with my left. by doing this, my view is blocked by my left arm. Poor design.
