Great cleaning on rough uneven old wood floors after removing carpet. Proved to fill a gap in the accessories that came with the Rigid Shop vac. Short stiff bristles swept over cracks, splinters and high edges making for quick clean up. Locking fit can be tight and hard to remove. A minor issue compared to the quicker cleaning this accessory provides. Already appears its going to be the most used attachment.

Attachment allows a wider area to clean on bare floors without the attachment being sucked and sticking to the floor. I like it.

Perfect. I bought this for vacuuming my garage floor mats, brush keeps the vacuum tube from sticking to the floor mats.

I bought this brush to vacuum old plywood floors after removing carpet, padding and staples. This brush makes suction so weak that it can't even pick up loose staples! To make matters worse, the front of the brush is shorter than the back, so if you're not a tall person, you can only get some functional cleaning out of it when you push it forward (which is pretty hard to do on uneven floors). When you pull the wand towards yourself, the back of the brush just pushes debris towards you like a broom. I don't understand how it gets positive reviews. Maybe those reviewers are all 6+ feet tall? Oh well. I'm 5'3" and this brush is going right back to the store tomorrow. Along with the wand, btw, which is thick and uncomfortable to hold with smallish female hands. But then of course who at Ridgid would ever expect that a female will be using their ShopVacs, right? Our place has always been in the kitchen. :)))) And btw that "twist and release" thingy Ridgid raves about in the ad video is also seemingly for folks with strong large hands. For me the parts ARE getting stuck and twisting them out is a pain in you know what! :P

Not that great. Design has brush length longer in back than front so if you angle brush any pickup fails. Used it to try and clean cold air return which is tight so it didn't well due to angle.

We were cleaning up sheetrock dust in new home, it didnt work very well for that. Feel like we wasted money buying it, maybe the shorter one would have worked better, but we didnt see any for 2 1/2 inch. We used attachment that came with the shop vac and it worked best. We did like how it locked to tubing. Liked Ridgid shop vac though.
