The bags are made of a thick fabric that is very soft to the touch and seems very durable. Install was a breeze with a cardboard collar piece that fits over the 2 ribs of the vac tube and seals well. One of the perks of these bags is that it can be used for either wet or dry applications, which is rare. The bag even comes with an adhesive seal to easily close up the bag when full for disposal. Dry vac work is good, with the bag easily keeping in all of the debris. Wet vac work can be an issue though, since the liquid from wet debris is supposed to pass through the bag over time and the bag can end up sitting in wetness at the bottom of the wet/dry vac housing. Depending on what you're vacuuming up, this can result in an odor which isn't too pleasant. Admittedly in the desert though, the bag dried out rather quickly. I also try to avoid my filter from getting anywhere near wetness which can lead to deterioration. Although the wet debris will go straight into this bag and not interface directly with the filter, there is a possibility of the liquid collecting in the bottom of the wet/dry vac housing and sloshing around into your filter. I would say for small wet cleanup applications, this bag would work OK but for bigger jobs I would just remove the filter and bag altogether and use the vacuum in its wet vac configuration.
