Great product for insulation at a reasonable price

it's getting hot in my garage, this stuff fits perfectly in my garage door panels.

Price is out of line with other home improvement stores will not buy here until they lower their price

This is the 5th project Ive done with this - this is my go to for places that didnt have insulation and I wanted to be mindful of air quality. Installed on my walk out basement walls and as soon as I turn on the lights, the heat starts radiating back into the room

This is a great insulation board. Unfortunately it cost $25 more per board (for the 2" board) at my local Home Depot in Salisbury, MD than it does at other Home Depot stores (ie: Gloucester, VA or Jericho, NY are $25 cheaper). Very disappointed in this inequitable pricing.

I went to the butler store in PA to buy 48 sheets. I inspected the panels before purchasing, the tin facing was not bonded to the insulation. The concern was that when I cut the panels the tin facing would tear free from the insulation, making a terrible mess. The panels are $30 each this unacceptable. I informed four different employers at store that also notified the defects but didn't seem to care or empathize. Product should returned to manufacturer.

Just what we needed to help block wind for our outside kitty.

Helped warm the basement very pleasantly. We used blue 3" Tapcon concrete anchors and furring strips to secure these rather than glue as others suggest because concrete walls aren't very straight, and glue would require holding pressure on the boards for a time. The two step concrete anchors are relatively quick and easy with a hammer drill. We put the furring strips on the room side of the insulation. It might seem like an extra expense to use furring strips, but a 3/4 inch dead air space should add R2 to the wall at very little cost. 1/2 inch would probably have been better. We point the aluminum foil side towards the warmth in order to block infrared radiation. I realize that per thickness, these panels cost more, but they claim to offer extra R value per thickness and also have the radiation barrier so you can use less space. Remember that R value refers only to heat conduction and means nothing regarding radiation. In other words, the foil radiation barrier is not showing up in the R value spec, but still adds protection from heat loss. Furthermore, if you want to go ahead and use glue, because both sides have a cover, the glue should not dissolve the foam itself. Great product .. slightly pricey, but convincing.

Some panels were shop worn, torn and warped. Only 50% were in good condition.

Great for my garage door. Highly recommend.

I used this to insulate garage door panels. It scores and breaks a bit easier than the pink stuff and is a radiant barrier.

Easy to cut and install

Works great for my attic renovation with 2 x rafters to get the Level of insulation I need.

Thick dense foam. Will be perfect as a bulletin board as the form is dense enough to hold the pins..

Good material that's easy to work with but the sheets were curled which made it a bit of a hassel to install. This was caused by the way it was stored in the store and can be rectified by laying it flat with the curl facing down and laying some weight on it. Another nice thing about this product is it qualifies for an energy savings rebate from the electric company.

Great product. Easy to use, install and cut. Ig I need again would buy and use.

Husband and I live in Arizona. We insulated a shed with this and it's amazing. It took the temperature inside from 120 degrees to 90 degrees. It's easy to cut and easy to install. We've used it several times to insulate doors that face the sun. What a difference!

The product was lightweight and easy to cut to correct size with my pocket knife. Very good for insulating my Dog’s house.
