I had really old barrel planters to replace and these are so pretty. Dont forget to drill some drain holes at the bottom of the barrel

There are no drainage holes so we added those ourselves with a drill.

Nice Plastic Barrel to replace my decaying Wooden Whisky Barrels I have had to previously replace about every five years. I was worried I was going to have to trim down the existing plant roots and soil from the original pot in order to fit inside the Plastic Barrel, however the inside dimensions were the same as the Wooden Whisky Barrel and the transfer went well, minus the effort of getting the heavy plant into the new plastic barrel. If using the Plastic Barrel for outdoor plants, be sure to drill at least three large holes near the base of the plastic barrel on opposite sides to allow for drainage. Three holes form a triangle, four holes would form a square. I used a 3/4 inch hole saw to create the drainage holes and not too large for rodent nesting. Hoping the Plastic Barrels will last at least ten years, and hopefully twenty or more.

I like the size of the pot. The price was right. Less expensive than other sources.

Nice looking sturdy pot. Four handles and sturdy wheels would be ideal for such a large pot, as a person would need help moving it, and handles + wheels would make the task much easier. Had to use an appliance dolly to lift it into a mobile appliance base to move it.

The best price for a large pot. I needed it to culture a fig tree, I drilled holes for drainage. The half barrel is very attractive and shouldn't rot out.

I bought 2 of these and they were sturdy and light, and easy to drill drain holes through. They are full of soil, layered with bulbs for spring 2022.

It was exactly as described. Is sturdy. We expect it to last a long time in the garden. It is the accessory we were looking for.

Best planters ever. Perfect size and will last much longer than wooden variants. Also good for acidic soil like my blueberries, won't leach galvanized elements.

Replaced an old wooden half-barrel with this new design, transplanted the columnar apple tree and everything looks terrific.

Did not realize it had a large lip over the top. Worked out - we just but it back. Like the barrell very much.
