We purchased the RYOBI, 40V 110 MPH 525 CFM Cordless Battery Variable-Speed Jet Fan Leaf Blower with 4.0 Ah Battery and Charger. The problem is this, they need to warn you NOT to let the battery go dead. My husband is 80 years old, so we don't blow the yard all the time, so Mike forgot to charge the battery, so when I tried to use the blower the battery was dead - very dead. We could not charge it. Our son even tried the workout on YouTube to get it to charge but no good for us. Now we are faced with a dilemma - buy a new $100+ battery or go with a different brand that has (Hopefully) a more forgiving battery for us old people.

Very quiet and powerful and not too heavy, and turbo button helps for bigger jobs.

Easy to use and long battery life. The turbo setting is impressively powerful. The regular setting gets the job done.

It's ok and does the job. I wanted something to blow the leaves off my front porch.So, it's ok.

I purchased this blower less that 6 months ago. I really liked the extra turbo button which allowed more blower power. Unfortunately, this blower just quit working suddenly. I changed batteries with a fully charged one but had the same results. The local Home Depot helped me exchange this with another model or I would have rated this as a one star.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already had two Ryobi leaf blowers - one over ten years old, one about five years old and both still work perfectly so I've been holding off buying a new one. But this year's acorn and oak leaf drop was epic, and the old blowers just took too long to get it done, and this one, including battery and charger, were on sale. So, this is my first Ryobi 40 Volt tool, and, what a difference! Cleanups that used to take 10 - 15 minutes are done in 5. Things I used to need a broom for are no problem. Jobs you thought might require a gas backpack blower to handle - just hit the turbo button. Worth every penny, it's going to save me countless hours in the yard.
