being excited about this. buying it getting home and then opening it to find out it has already been used and is covered in rust hair and debris. all the parts were in zip loc bags as well

I don't recommend and will never buy a Ryobi tool never again because: -The gauge plate (cheap plastic) already broke twice in 7 months of use. -The wheel to modify cutting angles does not stay in place because of the vibration of the saw. -The guide to push wood move a few angle degrees. In other words, it is impossible to cut real 90 degree angles or reproduce same cuts in several pieces. Besides this, the Ryobi customer service works terrible, they are rude and take a lot to respond.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great right from the box. The setup was clear and the instructions concise. I did not have missing pieces and the settings were already exact. We used it while building a fence and it was easier to use than past table saws I have had to endure with clean cutting, easy access to blade height and the power switch is brilliant (love the squishy "off")

I used this for 2 weeks and suddenly the switch seemed to BREAK. The saw would not stay ON when pressing the button, only when holding it down the blade would spin. The adjustments are flimsy and the fence is not the best to move around. Was very difficult to align blade and guard. Returned this and got a better product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this a month ago for a few back yard projects. It is well made. I have found it very easy to use and portable! Setting up a personal wood shop at home.

The table saw itself cuts true and the fence works fine. However the face plate is made of plastic. While ripping a piece of rosewood the saw wanted to kick back however the components did what they were supposed to do and stopped that. However the plastic face plate broke pulling a large chunk of my work piece with it. My push stick follows that down into the bottom of the saw and I was barely able to stop the momentum of my hand from falling into the blade. Do not get Thai saw

I was trying to rip some wood down with my Kreg saw jig but it wasn’t doing the job. I grabbed this table saw as I’m now building built ins in my closet. The power and clean cuts behind this saw are amazing. Was not that difficult to set up and the ease of movement is amazing.

While using this saw, The clips that hole the saw on the stand broke and the saw collapsed down and I almost fell on top of it while the blade was spinning. I went to turn the saw off and the motor made a loud screeching noise. On a happy note: The saw works great for someone who will not use it a lot. I loved it while it was in working order. It was inexpensive and had all the features that I needed.

Saw works good the paint on the table bubbled up and left high spots they want me to drive 2 hours to drop it off for warranty id be happy if they sent me a new top

It was easy to set up and use! Worked really well for the floating mantle that I cut at 45 degrees! Now I can make great cuts in the future.

The blade guard was a little confusing at first until I figured out how to adjust the riving knife for the thickness of my wood I was cutting. Great tool with a great price!

There has been mixed reviews on this from what I've seen personally. I just bought one of these brand new. And I'm very impressed so far. I'll do another review later down the road to let you all know how it's going. Definitely would suggest this for the price. Hope this helps.

One miter slot, so no sled. The miter slot itself has notches, so I wonder if a sled would work even if it had two slots. The cutting surface is plastic, and I don't think it's level. I am really disappointed. I am selling it online for half what I paid, and I'm going to buy a DeWalt instead. (I would return it, but I destroyed the box in the process of opening it.)

Very decent unit for the price - did the job well - the angle gauge though was made partially of plastic which was the only disappointment but still worked ok

Works good for simple projects around the house

I purchased this as an inexpensive saw in February 2022 - and it is a decent saw for what it is. While I can live with most of the concerns others have mentioned, the throat plate is not one as it can be a safety issue. In addition, trying to reach customer service is difficult when they have a wait time of 159 minutes and the only chat does not work. Until those issues can be resolved, I have to say no to this table saw.

I wanted a saw that had similar capabilities but that would be easier to setup, use and store when finished. I chose the Ryobi 10” saw. It is a breeze to use and set up and stores away in 1/3 the space as my previous saw. I am extremely pleased with the ease and performance of this product.

Ryobi RTS23 table saw for the price point, it had all features I wanted. Uses ripping planks into non-dimensional widths and fabricating molding and trim pieces from common lumber. The dado blade throat feature is a plus.
