I've used this to charge phones, run custom LED setups, signs and more things than I can even think of! Big battery in it and they seem to run forever. Smaller (2.0/1.5) and its very light and rather portable. It will never be as portable as an Anker/Aukey dedicated usb battery but the power output is the major winner here! I did have one odd quirk and it only happened once. Powered LED's with it and it shut off after about 5 minutes. Unplugged the device, plugged back in and it ran for hours after that. Watch for sales and you can catch it for $16-$17!

My electricity goes out quite often in the winter. The problem is I still need to charge two cell phones a day. My wife needs her phone for work, and I cannot charge hers if the power goes out. I was browsing through Ryobi products the other day and I noticed this adapter could solve my problem. I have plenty of 18 volt charged batteries in my garage that I can use with this adapter. Now I don't have to worry about power outages because I can use this to charge my two cell phones. I would recommend this product to anyone that loses power often or for any professional that needs USB ports on the job.

Very handy to be able to use the ryobi battery platform to power usb devices and as a backup source for your phone in event of a power outage.

Uses up the 18 volt battery pretty quickly. Wish it had an off/on indicator.. Gets the job done though ..

Extremely simple to operate.

Works great! We use it to charge the GoPro batteries and our phones during tournament days where we spend 10 hours at a baseball field.

Works as advertised. Since i have multiple ryobi 18V batteries, it gives me another emergency means to have temporary power for USB led string lights and charging cell phones

The usb charger is small and has a fast charging port and regular one..works good..we are ready for the next power outage

It charges your phone or other devices but the tool batteries aren't made for such use. Probably useful on a job site for a quick charge but it will die quickly. If you need something that can charge your device a couple times look elsewhere

Perfect for our needs as full time travelers. Power on the go when away from electric service.
