[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this sander to remove 3 layers of peeling paint from my front porch in order to have a fresh surface to repaint. This tool has been a massive time saver.

Great product, I bought one in Ryobi and one in Milwaukee. They both preformed great! (I use Milwaukee and I supply my employees with Ryobi). As hard as they are on equipment I only buy certain tools when we don't use them on a daily and this falls into that category for me. Ryobi is perfect for someone getting started and looking to start their power Tool collection but doesn't use them as much as I do. I have had great experiences with Ryobi in general.

Ease of use. Portability. Good results. Battery life acceptable.

Sander stops if very much pressure is applied and quickly goes through batteries. Do not recommend battery powered for this item

I really wanted to like this sander but it is heavier than my corded Roybi even before putting the battery on. It goes thru batteries fast also and I have the big 18volt batteries. I really like the other cordless tool by Ryobi but I can't recommend this one.

Love this Belt sander !! Does a great job at removing paint or just shaving down some uneven areas in my trim around my house first time home homeowners an this has came in handy more then we imagined!

Stops working because it thinks the bag is full, but when I empty it, it is practically empty. Also, when using the bag, sawdust gets everywhere inside the sander, especially around the sanding belt and wheels.

Battery hog: With 5 batteries and 2 chargers, I couldn't keep it going. Don't know if that is characteristic of this model or just a problem with this sander. Returned it.

Easy to set up and operate.

No assembly required and it came with sand paper. Light weight and very easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my wife her corded sander broke a drive belt. She wanted to try the Ryobi battery operated belt sander. She loves it so far sanding down her Epoxy Tables. It's easy to handle and seems to be well balanced. Great product would highly recommend it.

It’s not bad for a small job, but the battery dies fast and takes for ever to cool down. Also the belt slides off too fast. I recommend trying a different one.

Is a great tool to include in my Ryobi ONE collection. Useful and reliable.
