I have arthritis and this gun helps me get the caulking done easily

Performs above expectations. Excellent variable speed control.

Great flow control and easy on the hands. Used this tool on to redo Sikaflex on teak deck on our sailboat. Highly recommend for major caulking jobs.

I've attached an image of what I mean. This is the third tube of exterior caulk that this tool broke. I cleaned it up the first couple times and tried to give it one more chance, but at this point it's just not worth the hassle.

This saved my wrist from a week of cramping. It was however much heavier than I’d expected. I am not a pro, so my need for it ended quikly. I did not use to apply self leveling caulk, as i wanted more control. The dial did on lowest level was even difficult to keep up with. The rubberized casing also scratched very easily

Really handy tool. Caulking tasks were much easier, cleaner and more precise. Watch the variable speed setting to really control things. Overall great tool.

Had a project in which I had to apply 20 tubes of silicone sealant. Was not looking forward to doing this with the old standby hand operated caulking gun. This tool was one of my best purchases ever. Made the job effortless

I sealed all around the house in a weekend with this tool. I used about 12 sealant tubes. That would have been just impossible to do without this tool. I'm really happy I bought it.

I have owned mine for a while .I love the speed adjustment it is a great tool for open areas and very efficient. The down side is it is to bulkly for smaller area's. I would recommend this to for open and large area applications. And it definitely saves on finger cramps from the manual chaulk gun

My wife and I have been using this for about a week now and gone through around a dozen tubes. We have not experienced any of the problems mentioned by some other reviewers. As long as you poke a hole through the plastic to allow the glue to flow freely there shouldn't be any issues. The regular caulking gun was killing my fingers. This puppy makes caulking a pleasure. And the price can't be beat compared to the other more famous names. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Anyway, we'll see how it stands up. It will be getting quite a workout over the next few weeks. So far I am very pleased.

Works great once you learn proper settings a little awkward

This tool saves a lot of hand squeezing. Speed adjustment is easy to use and very precise. I bought this to do a large caulking job (3 tubes worth). I was so glad I did because I was able to do it continuously without hand fatigue, otherwise I would have had to take a day or two to do the job. The only time I could not use it was under a tight space as the gun was too big, but that is what the small hand squeeze caulking gun is for (the only time I will ever use a manual one again).

So amazingly easy to use especially for big jobs! Took a few minutes to get a good understanding for very small jobs but overall such a great purchase!

the 4A battery works well with even my older Ryobi tools. Glad I made the move as I've been nursing the old batteries for a year now

Bought the 18v power caulk gun for a big remodel job. It is great for wide open areas but a tad bulky and awkward in the hand/bulk head area. Like the flow adjustment and the steady flow. Overall another great product

The first time I used the caulk exploded out the back of the tube. I had a hard cleaning the gun. I don’t know if this was an isolated case, upon googling how to clean I saw that others had the same problem. While I love the gun and it’s capabilities, I am afraid to try again.

I bought this to do a remodel of a workshop and boy I'm glad that I did. Once you get used to the adjustment from a manual, jobs are no longer a headache. Your hands will thank you. Never knew I needed this tool but so happy someone recommended.

Being able to dial in exactly the amount of pressure you want to use creates a very smooth bead. Also, the constant even pressure makes a big difference. I had six conduits I had to weather proof and it was actually kinda fun :-)

I used this to apply adhesive to a paneling job I was doing recently. I found it to be more than powerful enough to do the job. It is a bit heavy, esp. with a larger AH battery. I discovered though that it really is energy efficient so you can use a smaller (like a 2AH) battery to save weight. I was able to do the entire job (24 tubes of adhesive) with one 2 AH battery and still had juice to spare.

I started noticing a few drafts by my windows as temps started falling this year so I decided I'd re-caulk all of my windows, doors, and baseboards. Being a pretty big job, I figured this tool would expedite the job. My first impression of this is that it is pretty bulky compared to your standard manual caulker. Also, pulling the rod back takes a little more effort than I'd like. I grab a tube of caulk and cut a small hole at the tip and then puncture the opening with the attached rod. I set the tool on the lowest speed setting and start to caulk. It took a little getting used to as even the slow setting seemed to come out quicker than I'd prefer. I take out the tube and what a mess, the tube had blown out. I get another fresh tube and test it out and that blew out too! I get a third fresh tube and cut a larger hole on the tip and that blew out as well. $20 worth of caulk tubes! I exchange the unit figuring it might have been defective and the new was promising at first but still wound up blowing out my 4th tube. I did not have good luck with this tool, your mileage may vary.

I bought this about a month ago and it makes it a lot easier to caulk anything that I have used it on.

As I get older it is harder to squeeze the trigger on a manual caulk gun. The Ryobi gun is a bit on the heavy side but not something you can't manage. The flow from the caulk gun is very fast with the Ryobi gun even on the slowest setting. I wasted a lot of caulk on the first use. Best to start with a much smaller cut on the caulk tube.

Bought this recently as we are siding our house and capping the windows and door Wow so easy to use. Made these jobs so much less stress on my hands Thanks great addition to my tools be Ryobi

I bought this to make my life easier with my basement Reno, but it’s turning out to be more trouble then it’s worth. I’ve tried using it with PL adhesive, silicone and concrete sealer, 75% of the tubes have either cracked and exploded out the side or exploded out the back, creating a huge mess that takes hours to clean up. Never had this happen with a manual caulking gun. First I thought it was the Fault of brand of tubes I was using but after trying various brands with the same result it’s definitely the caulking guns fault. First Ryobi tool I’ve been so disappointed with

This caulk gun was on budget and did a great job as we installed 6 windows with 8 more to go. Saved on hand fatigue and loved the speed control. Unit is a little bulky but you cant beat the price

I purchased this gun to re-caulk my log home. Great tool when you have to do a lot of caulking.
