The auger works with Ryobi 40V digger. Great combo.

The 4 inch auger did 400 holes about 4 inches deep very quick and easy. I was able to do 50 at a time with about half a battery charge. All 400 are planted. Great unit. It paid for itself.

Great bit and I use it on my 18 volt digger in soft root free soil for digging potting holes and it’s so great ?

I bought this thing and the 4inch bit for work and it has changed my life fr, i no longer have to dig a hole with the post hole diggers and this things will dig way further than i would have ever gotten either. very powerful and has an anti kickback for when you hit a root. Dug over 20 holes with half battery left too! 10/10 as of now

I've been using this auger with the Ryobi 40v and auger extensions to dig piers for a shed foundation in my backyard. It's pretty lightweight but still sturdy which is nice. Also cuts through the grass so I don't need bare earth to begin. I've hit a few rocks and haven't noticed any damage yet. I'll be using this a lot and will update if I find any obvious defects.
